WILSON. Jan. 13~Andrew Bendt.
68 years old, died Saturday In the
Buffalo General Hospital Mr. Bendt
had been ill for the past year but
was not entered at the hospital until
Monday. Jan. 6 He was born In the
town of Newfane and upon his marriage
to Gertrude Sinsel. 42 years ago
came to this village to live and had
since resided here. He operated
greenhouses on Franklin street for the
post 25 years. He was a member of
the I. O. O F. lodge.
Besides his wife. Gertrude Bendt.
two sisters. Mrs. Eugene Price, of
Lockport. and Mrs. John Miller, of
Maple street. Wilson, and one brother.
Rudolph Bendt. Wilson, survive.
Funeral services will be held from
the home here Tuesday afternoon at
2 o'clock. Rev I W. Jones, pastor of
thc local Baptist church, will officiate
Burial will be at North Rldge cemetery.
The I. O O F. will have charge
of the committal service.

Letters of administration on the estate
of Charles Berndt, Sr., of Wilson,
who died September 10, were granted
today in surrogate court- by Judge
Hickey to Rudolph Berndt and Maria C.
Miller, children, both of Wilson. Two
other children are named in the petition.
The value of the estate Is given
at $4,000 real and $3,000 personal
