    Imported Renaissance type lace and nylon fashioned the
    gown chosen by Miss Joyce L, Buri, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Frank E. Buri, 225 East Ave., for her marriagr to Gordon E.
    Budde, son of Mrs. Ella Budde of Burt and Edward Budde of
    Hartland.
    The ceremony ws perforrmed in
    Emmanuel Methodist Church at 4
    o'clock Saturday, the Rev. Harold
    W. cIlnay, pastor, officiating. Mr.
    Buri gave his daughter in mar-
    riage. Harold W. D.. Smith was
    organist and Mrs. Smith sand "O
    Promise Me" and "Because."
    The bride's lace gown was made
    with cascading ruffles of the nylon
    an illusion necklline edged with
    matching lace,, long pointed sleeves
    and a chapel-length train. Her il-
    lusion neckline and bouffant skirt
    of net over taffeta. She wore pink
    gauntlets and a matching lace pic-
    ture hat with net streamers. She
    carried a pink lace fan with a clus-
    ter of pink roses and blue del-
    phinium tied with pink satin
    streamers.
    BRIDESMAIDS WEAR BLUE
    Mrs. Raymond Capen, sister of
    the groom and Mrs. Raymond Her-
    man, bridesmaids, wore blue dress-
    es fashioned like that of the maid
    of honor and carried blue lace fans
    with yellow roses and blue delpini-
    um tied with blue streamers.
    Linda Lee Turner was flower
    girl, wearing a pink net dress with
    blue forget-me-nots caucrht in t he
    full skirt. Her matching bonnet
    was trimmed with rosebuds and
    tied under her chin with net
    streamers She carried a s m a ll
    Colonial bouquet of pink roses and
    mixed flowers.
    The bride's mother w .re a dress
    of navy lace over taffeta with
    matching velvet htt and accessc
    roses. The groom's mother also
    wore navy lace with matching hat
    and accessories and a corsage of
    mixed flowers. Mrs. Joseph A
    James, grandmother of the bnae.
    wore a navy sheer print and navy
    accessories, wit' a corsage of red
    roses and white carnations
    Lawrence R Budde was his
    brother's best man and ushers were
    Roger Horanburg of Olcott and
    Raymond Herman.
    Standing baskets and altar fcoiquets
    of white gladioli decorated the
    church for the ceremony.
    RECEPTION AT HOTEL
    A reception to 300 guests was
    held in the Park Hotel. Refreshments
    were served from a table
    decorated with a chain of plumosus
    roping. Music was furnished by Ev
    Jepson's orchestra. Mrs. Donald
    Turner and Mrs. Wllllkm Connor of
    Lockport and Miss Vera Dietrich of
    Barker assisted in serving, wearing
    glamellla corsages.
    Mr. and Mrs. Budde left for a
    wedding trip to the New England
    States, the bride wearing a pink;
    sharkskin suit and white velvet hat
    with pink plumes and white veiling.
    Her accessories were white and she
    wore a corsage of white roses. Upon
    their return, they will make their
    home in Burt.
    Out-of-town guests attended from
    Cleveland, Buffalo. Burt. Newfane,
    Olcott. Batavia, Attica and Wol-
    cottsville.
    The bridegroom served in t h e
    Army, spending more than three
    years in the European Theater
    Pre-nuptial events included a din-
    ner at the Park Hotel given by
    empoyes in the Production Mar-
    keting Office; a linen shower given
    by Miss Audrey Buri; a red and
    white kitchen shower by Mrs. Ray-
    mon Herman, a varieity shower by
    Mrs. Robert Dibley; a personal
    shower by Mrs. Donald Turner; a
    dinner and variety shower at Green
    Acres, Burt, by Mrs. Raymond Ca-
    pen and Mrs. Dorothy Budde and
    the rehearsal party, given by Mrs.
    Joseph W. Turner.

    of divorce on infidelity grounds
    from Gordon E. Budde. Burt. They

    in Inter-Community Memorial
    Hospital where he had been
    a patient for 10 days.
    He was born July 18, 1896,
    in the Town of Cambria, the
    son of R o b e r t and Marie
    Budde. He was a pill maker
    for Norton Laboratories,. Lockport.
    Survivors include his wife,
    Bertha Budde; three sons, Gor-
    Idon and L a w r e n c e Budde,
    Lockport, and Edward Budde,
    at home; three daughters, Mrs.
    Raymond Cap.en, Starkville,
    Miss., C a r o l y n and Linda
    Budde, at home; four stepsons,
    John, Donald, R o b e r t and
    Franklin Greilling and three
    stepdaughters, Mrs. Louis Stephens,
    Mrs. Robert Wolf and
    Mrs. Richard C e n t e n e r ; a
    brother, Howard Budde, Appleton;

    Soldwish and Mrs. Leona Meincke,
    both of Toledo, Ohio; and
    nine grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    at the family home,
    Johnson C r e e k Rd., Middleport,
    at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday
    by the Rev. August Krentz of
    Immanuel Lutheran Church,
    Ridgewood. Burial will be in
    Hartland Central Cemetery.

    widow of Robert G. Budde, Bishop
    Road, Hartland, entered into rest
    at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
    Elmer Crutts, Bishop Road, Hart-
    land, Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1951.
    She is survived by three sons and
    three daughters, Mrs. Robert Sold-
    wish and Mrs. Walter Meinke of
    Toledo, O.; William Budde of Ni-
    agara Falls, N. Y.; Edward Budde
    of Johnson Creek; Mrs. Elmer
    Crutts and Howard Budde of Hart-
    land; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-
    grandchildren; 2 great-great-grand-
    children; seven step-grandchildren
    also, one sister, Mrs, Fred Newman
    of Toledo, O, Friends may call at
    the home of her son, Howard
    Budde, Bishop Road, Hartland,
    where services will be held Satur-

    Thirty guests were seated at a
    table decorated with Christmas can-
    dles and flowers, when Mr. and Mrs.
    Robert Budde celebrated their 55th
    wedding anniversary Wednesday
    evening at a dinner served at 7
    o'clock at the home of their young-
    est daughter, Mrs. Walter Meinke
    in Newfane.
    Mr. Budde, who Is now 78, came
    to this country from Germany when
    a youth. Mrs. Budde, who was then
    Miss Marie Hausman, came from
    the same country at the age of 17.
    She Is now 74. They were married In
    1884 in the Lutheran church at
    North Ridge and for the past 40
    years have lived on the Checker-
    tavern road. North Hartland.
    They had 11 children, of whom six
    are now living. They are Mrs. Emma
    Soldwish, Toledo; William, Niagara
    Falls;
    Edward, Newfane; Mrs.
    Lillian Crutts and Howard Budde,
    North Hartland; Mrs. Leona Meinke.
    Newfane, ten grandchildren and
    seven great grandchildren.

    On December 16th Mr. and Mrs.
    Robert G. Budde of Hartland, cele-
    brated their 50th wedding annivers-
    ary by entertaining 100 guests at a
    6 o'clock dinner held in the Em-
    manuel Lutheran church parlor of
    Ridgewood.
    Mrs. Budde, dressed in black lace
    with a corsage of roses, graciously
    received the guests. As a part of
    the entertainment Emma Soldwish,
    the eldest daughter, sang "Silbeer
    Haired Parents of Mine." One of
    the most entertaining features was
    a mock wedding which caused much
    amusement.
    Among those preent were John
    Hausman, who was best man at the
    first wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Budde
    have six children living, ten grand-
    children, al of whom were present
    except two and 5 great grandchild-
    ren.
    Mr. and Mrs. Budde were the
    recipients of many gifts and many
    caards of congratulation.

    WILSON, April 20-Mr. and Mrs.
    Rudolph Bendt of the Shadigee
    road. Wilson, were pleasantly surprised
    on Tuesday evening when
    their children and grandchildren
    gathered at the home of Mr. and
    Mrs. Arthur Hausman to celebrate
    their golden wedding anniversary.
    The dining room was decorated in
    gold and white, with a large white
    bell suspended over the center of
    the table. At seven o'clock an elaborate
    dinner was served. The table
    was centered with a bouquet of yel
    low and white flowers, with a three
    tiered wedding cake decorated In
    gold at each end. The evening was
    spent In playing cards and bingo.

    of St. Johnsburg. Mr. and Mrs.

    marriage.
