DAMON - Ethel P. (nee Irvine) January 14, 2013, age 88 of Amherst, formerly of Tonawanda, after a brief illness, wife of the late Harold C. Damon; mother of Linda (Tom) McGavin, Larry J., Carol (Colleen Hall), Alan (Michele) and Ty (Diane) Damon; stepmother of Dolores Schwartzkopf and Gerald Damon; sister of Beatrice Smith; also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, INC, 37 Adam St. at Seymour, Tonawanda. If desired memorials to Hospice Buffalo are preferred. Mrs.Damon was a Navy veteran of WWII, an avid bowler and award winning crafter who enjoyed sharing her creations with her family and friends.
