    Thomas R. Stuff, 89, of North Tonawanda, Sunday (January 23, 2022) at home surrounded by family under the care of Niagara Hospice. Thomas was born in Cheektowaga, New York on November 2, 1932 to Norman C. and Laura E. (Hoehn) Stuff. Thomas was a U. S. Navy Veteran Serving 1952- 1956, retired from Otis Elevator with 40 years of service, long standing member of IUEC Local 14, and American Legion Post 264. Thomas had a great sense of humor, in his spare time he was an avid traveler, euchre player, and Buffalo Bills fan. Thomas was predeceased by his wife of 56 years Elizabeth A. (nee Stadler) "Betty" Stuff who passed in 2013, his brother Eugene, sister Marion (Robert) Guppenberger, and Norma (John) Nelson.
    Thomas is survived by his children Brian (Nancy) Stuff, Deborah (Bradley) Carr, Dawn (Richard) Calorico, Kathleen Barrett, Cheryl (Fil) Nieves, Joanne (Michael Stanz) Willard and Diane (Andrew) Olewnik; proud grandfather of 21 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and Brother in law of Mildred Stuff, also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

    NORTH TONAWANDA —
    Lester Galas, age 94, on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Lester was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. He retired from Buffalo Pumps and previously worked at Buffalo Bolt. Lester was consummate Grandpa. He loved being outdoors, fishing and being with his family. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.
    Lester was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He served in North Africa and the European Theater and was at the Battle of Normandy. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Distinguished Unit Badge with Oak Leaf Cluster and European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal.
    Loving husband of Stella (Maday) Galas of North Tonawanda. Dear father of Michael (Deborah) Galas, Kathleen (John) See, Lawrence Galas, Martin Galas, Robert Galas and Nancy (Brian) Stuff. Proud grandfather of Todd (Danielle) Galas, Matthew (Sarah) Galas, Rene See, Thomas See, Brian (Jocelyn) Galas, Danielle Galas, Jacqueline Galas, Cory, Robert and Chad Stuff. Great-grandfather of Olivia, Ella, Owen and Sydney. Brother of Helen Adams and Rose Mislin and predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    Stella Galas, age 89, on North Tonawanda, Monday (February 11, 2013) at Sisters of Charity Hospital, after a long illness. Stella was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. She was a life long home maker whose life was filled with caring for her children and grandchildren. Wife of the late Lester Galas and predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
    Dear mother of Michael (Deborah) Galas, Kathleen (John) See, Lawrence Galas, Martin Galas, Robert Galas and Nancy (Brian) Stuff. Proud grandmother of Todd (Dannielle) Galas, Matthew (Sarah) Galas, Rene See, Thomas See, Brian (Jocelyn) Galas, Danielle Galas, Jacqueline Galas, Cory, Robert and Chad Stuff. Great-grandmother of Olivia, Ella, Owen and Sydney. Sister of Rose (the late Benny) Wesolowski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
