    Sever exchanged marriage vows Saturday
    (June 1, 1963) at St John de LaSalle
    Church.
    Rev. James C Cahill officiated at the
    double-ring ceremony uniting the daughte
    r of Mr and Mrs. William Perry Mann
    Sr 74th Street and the son of Mrs. John
    Sever, Whitney Avenue, and the late Mr.
    Sever
    Miss Mann approached the altar in the
    company of-her father. Site wqre a silk
    organza and Alencon lace gown featuring
    pppliqued Sabrina neckline, long fitted
    sleeves and bouffant skirt. An organza pillbox
    hold her bouffant scalloped veil. She
    carried a cascade of pink roses and white
    carnations.
    COUSIN OF THE BRIDE. Miss Valerie
    Lunney, was maid of honor. She was attired
    in a .iade green chiffon street-length gown
    styled with fitted bodice and belle skirt.
    She earned a bouquet of white carnations
    and pink roses.
    Bridesmaids in similar ensembles were
    Mrs. william Perry Mann .Jr sister-in-law
    of the bride and Miss Kathy Sever, sister
    of the bridegroom.
    .Junior bridesmaids were Miss Roberta
    Jeanne Bisulca and Miss Nancy Anne
    Bisulca. twin cousins of the bride. Miss
    Marianne Stayner, the bride's niece, was
    flower girl.
    The bride's nephew Michael Stayner,
    was ringbearer.
    James Woomer. the bridegroom's uncle,
    was best man. Ushers were William Perry
    Mann Jr.. brother of the bride, and George
    Sever, uncle of the bridegroom.
    THE BRIDE'S mother wore a fern
    green silk chiffon crepe street-length gown
    with white accessories and. a pink carnation
    and white rose corsage.
    The bridegroom's mother chose an ice
    blue street-length silk organza sheath with
    blue accessories and a white carnation
    and pink rose corsage
    An afternoon reception was held at the
    . Boathouse Restaurant.
    After a motor trip through Pennsylvania,
    Mr. and Mrs Sever will reside at
    740 Pierce Ave.

    Mrs. Perry Mann, a recent bride,
    was the guest of honor at a variety
    shower at the home of Miss
    Dorothy Mann. The evening was
    spent in playing games and a delicious
    lunch was served.
    Among those present were: The
    Misses Mary and Bertha Heath,
    Martha , Lewis, Angela Lynch,
    Jeanne and Frances Mann, Mildred
    Fellows, Margaret Mann, Verna
    Murphy, Mrs. Virginia Hardison,
    Mrs. Clare Fitzgerald, Mrs. Emma
    Carpenter, Mrs. Bonnie Mann,
    Mrs. J. Sullivan and Mrs. Evelyn
    Benjamin.
    The guest of honor received
    many beautiful gifts. Mrs. Mann
    was formerly Miss Mary Benjamin.

    Daniel E. 'Benjamin. 64. a resi-
    dent of this city for 40 years be-
    fore he moved to Buffalo a year
    ago, died Monday (Jan. 16. 1957)
    in Buffalo General Hospital after
    a short illness.
    Mr. Benjamin was an engineer
    for the New York Central Railroad.
    He was born in Audenreid.
    Pa. He resided at 2420 Pierce
    Ave. for 36 years before he moved
    to Buffalo, where he resided at 45
    Bennett Village Terrace.
    He was a member of Niagara
    River Lodge No. 785, F&AM, the
    Shriners and the Brotherhood of
    Locomotive Engineers. He was a
    member of the First Christian
    Science Church of Buffalo.
    Surviving are his wife. Lillian
    V. Benjamin; two sons. Thomas L.
    and John R. Benjamin; two daughters,
    Mrs. Perry (Mary) Mann and
    Mrs. Anthony (Betty) Bisulca, all
    of this city; a brother, Howard E.
    Benjamin, this city; three sisters,
    Mrs. Harold Saunders, Rochester,
    Mrs. John Ullrich, Elizabeth, Pa.,
    and Mrs. Robert Edwards, Pittsburgh,
    Pa.; and 11 grandchildren.
    Funeral services were being
    arranged at presstime.

    Daniel married Anna about 1913. Anna was born about 1892 in PA; died on 21 Mar 1939 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
