Police here and at New York City
were asked today to try and discover
the whereabouts of Roger
James Lee. 38. formerly of this city,
so that he might be informed of
the death yesterday at Toronto.
Ont., of his father. Harold (General)
Lee. 66. of 413 Tenth street.
When last heard from the son.
who Joined the merchant marine at
the close of World War 3. was located
at New York City.
Mr. Lee succumbed to a heart attack
while visiting in Toronto.
Born at Sheffield. England. Mr.
Lee had lived in this city for the
last 39 years. He retired last December
after working at the Carborundum
company for 15 years.
Also surviving are two other sons.
Harold Lee. Jr.. Syracuse, and Wtlbur
Lee. Rochester; a daughter,
Mrs. E. Compton, this city, and a
sister. Mrs. Harold Richardson.
Sheffield.
Funeral services will be held at
the home Saturday at a time to be
announced later. Interment will be
in Falrview cemetery, Niagara Falls
Ont.
