    Notes:

    Debbie S. Hermanson of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020, at her home.  She was born in Lockport, NY, on July 29, 1957, the daughter of the late Edward and Teresa [Palm] York.
    Debbie graduated from Wilson High School.    She was a machinist with the former  HSC Control Company for over 15 years and later became a secretary with Franklin Trafficking in Sanborn for many years.
    Debbie was the President of the Sanborn Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Sanborn Area Historical Society.
    She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and enjoyed dirt track racing, traveling and gardening.
    Debbie is survived by her husband of 27 years Gordon H. Hermanson, her children Lillie Hermanson, Gordy (Melissa) Hermanson, Jr. and Michelle (Alex) Vickery, two grandsons Justin and Jeremy Vickery and was the sister of Lou (Sharon) York, Bonnie (Dale) Schafer, Melody (Ed Poole) York and Shawn York.  She is also survived by many sister and brother in laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
    Her family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.   Due to current regulations, building capacity and social distancing will be monitored, facial coverings are also required.
    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Mt. View Cemetery in Pekin.
    Memorials may be made in her name to the Sanborn Fire Company.
    Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin.

    Edward F. York Sr., 76. of
    1016 E. Falls St. died. Thursday
    (Jan. 5, 1967) at his home,
    after a brief illness.
    Born in Buffalo, Mr. York
    came to this city from Man-
    chester, N.Y. and had lived
    here for the last 40 years. He
    worked for various contractors
    as a painter until his retir-
    ment about 10 years ago.
    Mr. York was a member of
    Painters and Decorators Local
    No. 65.
    Surviving are his widow,
    Ruth; two sons, Edward F.
    York Jr. of Ransomville, and
    Roy E. York of San Jose,
    Calif.; three daughters, Mrs.
    Ean (Helen) Christofferson,
    also of San Jose, Mrs. Donald
    (Marie) DeTamble of Youngs-
    town, and Mrs. Joanne Beeny
    of Orlando, Fla.; 10 grandchil-
    dren and 2 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held
    Monday at Bell Funeral Home
    at 9 a.m. and at Our Lady of
    Lebanon Church at 9:30 a.m.
    The rosary will be recited at
    the funeral home at 8 p.m. Sun-
    day. Burial will be in Gate of
    Heaven Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to
    5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and

    A verdict of death from heart disease
    was rendered by Coroner J. V.
    Farruggta- today In the case of Frederick
    H. Bennett, of 1036 Fairfield
    avenue, who was stricken at Main
    street and Niagara avenue yesterday
    afternoon and died before he was admitted
    to Memorial hospital.
    Mr. Bennett, a native of Avon. N.
    Y.. had resided In Niagara Palls for
    about 25 years. Previous to seven
    vears ago he waa employed for 20
    years as a mechanic by the Lehigh
    Valley railroad. He is survived by his
    wife. Mrs. Clara I. Bennett: three
    sons, John, Ralph and Grant Ben-
    nett, all of this city; three daughters,
    Mrs. Edward York, of this city, Mrs.
    Henry Reubens, of Sanborn, and Mrs.
    Ross Cornell, of Clifton Springs, and
    a brother, Cyrus E. Bennett, of Buf-
    falo.
    Plans for the funeral were being
    completed today.
