    Stanley E. Young, 76, of 2532
    Eas Townline Road, died
    Friday of injuries suffered in
    an auto accident.
    Born Feb. 28, 1905 in the
    Town of Ridgeway, his parents
    were the late Samuel and
    Myrtie (Metcalf) Young. Mr.
    Young had lived in the Medina
    area all of his life.
    He had farmed all of his life
    in the Knowlesville area. He
    was a member of the Farm
    Bureau, Agway, and the Yates-
    Carlton Sportsman Gub. He
    retired from farming in 1971.
    His wife Edna M. Young died in
    1958.
    Mr. Young is survived by one
    daughter, Eleanor R. Young of
    Houston, Texas; two sons,
    Donald A. Young and Raymond
    A. Young, both of Medina;
    eight grandchildren; three
    great-grandchildren; two
    sisters, Mrs. Una Morgenberger
    of Medina, Mrs. Esther
    Handy of Medina, and several
    nieces and nephews.
    A funeral service was held
    today at 2:30 p.m. at the
    Barnes-Tuttle Inc. Funeral
    Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina.
    The Rev. Stanley Thurber
    officiated and burial was in
    West Ridgeway Cemetery.
    Memorials may be made in
    Mr. Young's name to the ICU
    Fund of Medina Memorial
    Hospital.

    LYNDONVILLE - Fred C. Benteen,
    68, West Lake Shore Road
    farmer, died Tuesday at his home
    exactly five weeks after the death of
    his son, Albert Benteen.
    Mr. Benteen was born in Wolcottsville
    on Aug. 21, 1784 but had lived
    most of his life in the Town of
    Yates.
    Besides his wife, Mrs. Lavina
    Waterson Benteen, he leaves two
    daughters, Mrs. Stanley Youn-, Medina;
    Mrs. Mayfleld Williams, Waco,
    Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Cummings,
    Wolcott; Mrs. Pauline Bartell,
    Akron; Mrs. Ella Beach. Lockport;
    Mrs, Reaka Leoschke, Lockport;
    a brother, William Benteen,
    Royalton Center; several nieces and
    nephews.
    Rites will be held Friday at the
    home at 2:30, the Rev. Edward P.
    Gill, pastor of Lyndonville Methodist
    Church, officiating Burial will
    be In West Ridgeway Cemetery.
