August Fred Loeschke waa born
Dec. 14, 1872, at Wolcottsburg, N. Y..
where he was baptized and confirmed,
Jan. 13, 1896. He married Miss
Friederika Benthin living only a few
years on the Ridge and the remainder
of his life, 26 years, on the farm
In Town of Barre where he died of
complication of diseases Wednesday
evening May 7th at the age of 62
years.
Besides his beloved wife the deceased
leaves to mourn his demise
the following children: Mrs. Walter
Krause, Gasport, Mrs. Arthur Kane,
Albion, William Loeschke, Lockport,
Walter and Andrew at home, one
sister, Mrs. Henry Brumley of Lockport
and one brother Fred of Lockport.
Funeral services will be conducted
Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the
residence two miles west of Barre
Center. Interment at Union Cemetery.
Rev. C. Poeckler officiating.

Mrs. Reaka Leoschke (nee Bentean)
widow of the late August
Leoschke of Barre, passed away
March 23, 1946 at the age of eighty one
years, at the home of her daughter
Mrs. Rose Brown, on Chestnut
Ridge, Lockport. She leaves to mourn
her loss, two sons and two daughters,
Mrs. Walter Krause, Royalton, Mrs.
Rose Brown, William C. and Walter
A. Loeachke of Lockport, two sisters
Mrs. Fred Bartell, Wofcottsvllle and
Mrs. Fred Beach of Lockport, one
brother William Bentean of Royalton
and twelve grandchildren, three
great grandchildren. Friends may
call at Grineli Funeral home, Maw
at. Albion where the funeral will be
held Sunday, March 24 at 3 PM.
Burial at Union Cemetery on County-
house road. Rev. Herman Meier
ef Lockport will officiate.
