WURL - Edward N. Wurl, 81, of 695 Niagara Pky., North Tonawanda, died Friday
(Jan 12, 1968) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, he was a member of St. Martin
Lutheran Church and formerly was employed as a cabinetmaker at the Wurlitzer
Co. Husband of the late Anna Haseley Wurl, he is survived by two sons,
Kermit E. of Fairfax, Va. And Edward W. of Long Beach, Calif.; a daughter,
Mrs. Melvin Pierce of North Tonawanda; two brothers, Martin of Buffalo and
Alvin of North Tonawanda; a sister, Miss Amanda Wurl of North Tonawanda, and
six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Wattengel Funeral Home Inc., 307 Oliver St., North
Tonawanda, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev.
Luther L. Knauff will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial
Park.

WURL – Anna C. Wurl, 79, of 248 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, died Saturday (Jan. 26, 1963) in her residence. She was born in Walmore, N.Y. and had lived in North Tonawanda 50 years. She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Edward M.; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Pierce of North Tonawanda; two sons, Kermit E. of Alexandria, Va., and Edward W. of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. John Ferchen of Bergholtz; also six grandchildren. Friends may call at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., where services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Luther Knauff will officiate. Burial in White Chapel Memorial park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Martin Building Fund.
