wife of Charles B. Lloyd, mother of
James. Mrs. Frank Garwood and Clarence
Whltacre of this city: Daughter
of Mrs. Catherine Bender of this city,
and sister of Clarence and Ralph Bender,
both of this city. Funeral services
from the Bell Funeral Chapel,
Tuesday, April 11, at 4:00 p.m. Rev.
John P. Letfler officiating. Interment
in Oak wood cemetery.

Taken ill while at the home of a
neighbor last evening, Mrs. Lillian
L. Lloyd, 472 - 101st street, died
shortly after being removed to her
home. Coroner Harry R. Emes, who
investigated, reported that death
was due to a heart attack.
Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her
mother, Mrs. Catherine. Bender;
three children. Jamer Lloyd, Mrs.
Frank Garwood and Clarence Whltacre,
all of this city, and two brothers,
Clarence and Ralph Bender,
also of this city.
Plana for the funeral were being
made today.

Charles Bender, a resident of Niagara
Falls for 29 years, died yesterday
afternoon in his home, 710 101
street- He was 71 years old and a native
of Alden. N. Y. Funeral services
will be held Saturday afternoon at
1:30 o'clock in the Bell Funeral
Home, 635 Mala street, with the Rev.
E. A. Harding officiating. Burial will
be In Oakwood cemetery,
Mr. Bender was a carpenter by
trade but bad retired from active
work nine years ago. He bad been in
falling health for some time past but
the illness that resulted in his death
was brief.
Surviving Mr. Bender are his wife,
Mrs. Catherine Bender, two sons,
Clarence and Ralph, and a daughter,
Mrs. Lillian Lloyd, all of this city.
Several brothers and sisters also sur-
vive. They are: Mrs. Catherine Ben-
son, Mrs. Anna Clark and Mrs. Jo-
sephine Mittelberger, all of Buffalo;
Mrs. Caroline Schwartz, Tonawanda;
Nicholas Bender, Buffalo, and Ed-
ward Bender, Rochester.

Charles married OLD, Catherine about 1887. Catherine (daughter of Marguereta) was born in Sep 1868 in Canada; died on 14 Jan 1947 in Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital, Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Mrs. Catherine M. Bender. 76. who
suffered a stroke last night at her
home, 710 101st street, died today at
the Memorial hospital.
She was born In Canada and came
to this city 42 years ago. Her husband,
Charles Bender, died about 12
years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph and
Clarence Bender; two grandchildren
and two gerat grandchildren, all of
this city.
Funeral services will be held at
2:30 p. m., Friday at the Bell
Funeral chapel. 635 Main street. The
Rev. Rosebud B. Vogel, pastor of the
White Rose Center of Free Psychic
Truth, will officiate. Interment will,
be In Oakwood cemetery.
