    CHARLES ZUCKMAIER DEAD
    Former Mayor of Tonawanda Was Long .

    Engaged in Real Estate.
    Charles Buckmaieir. former mayor of
    Tonawanda. died at 8 o'clock Monday
    morning In hls home at 238 Morgan
    street, Tonawanda. He was 74 years
    old. Funeral arrangements hsve not
    been completed,
    Mr Zuekmaler was a life-long resident
    of Tonawanda and had long been
    prominent In political, business and
    social activities. He was mayor of the
    community from 1910 to 1913. He was
    a memoer of the board of public works
    from April. 1903. to December. 1907.
    With his brother. P. August Zuck-
    maier. he had been for many years ln
    the real estate business, developing the
    Elmwood park extension. He retired
    from active business In 1914. He had
    been a director of the Niagara Aid and
    Loan association since Its foundation
    In 1893 At his death he was treasurer
    of the company.
    Mr Zuekmaler waa a member of Salem
    Evangelical church of Tonawanda and
    Tonawanda lodge, 347, F & A M
    Surviving him are his widow. Emma. ,
    and brother. F August Zuckmaier.

    Charles married BLUCKHORN, Elizabeth on 10 Jan 1893 in Tonawanda, Erie County, NY. Elizabeth (daughter of Christina) was born in Jan 1865 in Tonawanda, Erie County, NY; died on 8 Dec 1921 in Tonawanda, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    "Hear the merry wedding bells; what a
    world of happiness their melody foretells."
    And the bells which chimed the nuptials
    of two well known and highly esteemed
    young people last Wednesday were no
    exception to those of which the poet sung.
    It was at Salem church on Morgan street
    that this happy event occurred, Rev. J. G.
    Wltllnger performing the impressive ceremony
    that united Mr. Charles Zuckmaier
    and Miss Elizabeth Bluckhorn in the
    silken fetters of matrimony. The wedding
    was quiet, but pretty and pleasant. Miss
    Ida Hickle was bridesmaid, and Mr
    Albert Hubman acted in the capacity of
    best man.
    The happy young couple are at present
    residing with the groom's parents on Morgan
    street, but will enjoy the felicity of
    their own domestic establishment in
    about one month. Mr. Zuckmaier has
    erected a beautiful residence on Morgan
    street, where he will take his bonny bride.
    "May time tread light, and never blight"
    the happiness of Mr. and Mrs. Zuckmaier.
