    NIAGARA FALLS - Funer-
    al services have been scheduled
    for Thursday for two Niagara
    Falls men killed about 9 a.m.
    Monday when an auto crashed
    into the read of a refuse truck
    in Lockport Road, Town of
    Wheatfield.
    Deputy Sheriff Sgt. Robert Nagel

    and Deputy Richard Bunnell
    said the refuse truck, owned by
    Niagara Sanitation Service, 85
    Michigan St., Buffalo, was stopped
    in the westbound lane when
    a westbound car, driven by Den
    nis S. Barnette, 35, of 1335 Ash
    land Ave., Niagara Falls, crash
    ed into the rear of it.
    They said Kenneth Bennion,
    54, of 569 Third St., a sanitation
    worker, was standing behind
    the truck at the time of fte
    crash.
    Mr. Barnette and Mr. Bennion
    were pronounced dead at
    the scene, A second sanitation
    worker, Roy Doolittle, 61, of 334
    First St., Niagara Falls, was released
    after treatment at Niag
    era Falls Memorial Hospital for
    chest, back, arm and hand in
    juries.
    Services for Mr. Barnette will
    be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at
    the Rhoney Funeral Home. The
    Rev. John Del Turco of the
    Walnut Ave. Christian Church
    will officiate. Burial wW be in
    Oakwood Cemetery.
    Mr. Barnette attended Ntaga
    ra Falls High School, served
    four years in the U.S. Navy and
    worked at various Loblaw stores
    in the area until joining Harri
    son Radiator Division, General
    Motors Corp,
    Survivors include a son. Denms
    J, Barnette of Olympia,
    Wash.; two daughters. Miss Robin
    Barnette of Olympia, Wash
    and Miss Barbara Barnette of
    North Tonawanda; his mother,
    Mrs. J. Marvin Barnette of Ni-
    agara Falls; a brother, James
    E. Barnette of Niagara Falls'
    two sisters, Miss Janice Barnet-
    te of Niagara Falls and Mrs.
    Alfred Harvey of San Jose, Cal-
    if.
    Funeral
    services for Mr.
    Bennion will be held at 1:30
    p.m. Thursday at the Cornell
    and Daggett Funeral Home,
    Niagara Falls. The Rev. Cuthbert
    MacLean, rector of St.
    Stephen's Episcopal Church,
    will officiate. Burial will be in
    akwood Cemetery.
    Mr. Bennion was a native of
    Warsaw. He had lived in Niagara
    Falls since 1932 and had
    been a foreman at the Kimberly
    - Clark Corp. and at the
    Vanadiitm Corp. before becoming
    a truck driver for the sanitation
    firm.
    He is survived by his widow,
    Mrs, Virginia Bennion; two
    daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Mar
    garet) Dougherty of Niagara
    Falls and Miss Cynthia Bennion
    at home; two sons, Kenneth
    and William, both at
    home; a sister, Mrs. John Bossier
    of Batavia; a granddaughter
    and several nieces and ne
    phews.

    MUSALL - Edward. W. 80, of
    North Tonawanda Friday (March
    29, 1985) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital
    after a lengthy illness. Mr.
    Musall was a charter member of
    Messiah Lutheran Church,
    Lewiston, NY., and a former
    employee of Buffalo Bolt Co. with 27
    years service.
    He is survived by his wife Virginia
    (nee Martin); a daughter, Mrs.
    William (Catherine) Bennion of
    Lewiston; two grandsons, and many
    nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call at the Fretthold
    Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St.
    at Ward Road, Saturday from 7-9
    p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
    Services will held at the funeral
    home Monday at 10:30 a.m., the
    Rev. Milan J. Slahor will officiate.
    Interment in North Ridge Cemetery.
    If so desired, memorials may be
    made to the Messiah Lutheran
    Church.

    Falls, died Wednesday (Dec. 11,
    1968) in Mount View Hospital,
    Lockport. '
    A native of Sheldon. N.Y., he
    had beer employed as a production
    man at the Great Lakes
    Carbon Co., for 15 years until
    his retirement in 1958. ,
    Survivors include a son, Ken
    neth of Niagara Falls, and, a
    duaghter , Mrs. John
    (Catherine) Bossier, of Batavia;
    three brothers, Donald and
    Raymond of Sanborn and
    Wayne of Caledonia; two
    sisters, Mrs. Nellie Tuttie of
    Johnsburg, N.Y., and Mrs.
    Irene Canaway of Hinsdale,
    N.Y.; 12 grandchildren, five
    great-granchildren, and several
    nieces and nephews..
    Funeral services will be held
    at the Pike and Jones Funeral
    Home Inc., here on Saturday
    at 11 a.m. with the Rev; Floyd
    Gotjen officiating. Burial will
    be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the
    funeral home from 2 to 5 and
    7 to .9 p.m.
