  1. 2.  QUINLAN, Joseph Cornelius was born about 1903 in Tonawanda, Erie County, NY; died on 18 Apr 1957 in Degraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY.

    QUINLAN - Joseph Cornelius
    Quinlan, 54, of 32 Hill Pl., Tona-
    wanda, died Thursday (April 18,
    1957) in DeGraff Memorial Hpsi-
    tal after a long illness. Born in
    Tonawanda, Mr. Quinlan was a
    lifelong resident of the city, and
    was personnel manager at the In-
    ternational Paper Co., where he
    had been employed for the last 23
    years. He was a member of St.
    Francis of Assisi Church, the Holy
    Name Society of the church, and
    Twin City Council 413, Knights of
    Columbus, of which he was a past
    grand knight. He was a director
    of the Twin City Catholic Club, and
    was a member of the Personnel
    managers Club of tonawanda, of
    which he was a past president. He
    was also a member of the El-
    dredge Bicycle Club, the Chamber
    of commerce of the Tonawandas,
    and the Delaware Hose Company.
    Mr. Quinlan is survived by his
    wife, Cladys nee Hoolihan; three
    sons, Paul, Peter and Bryan ; three
    daughters, Mrs. Theodore Campas,
    Miss Cornelia Quinlan and Miss
    maureen Quinlan all of the Tona-
    wandas. Two grandchildren, Chris-
    tine and Ted Campas Jr., and a
    sister, Mrs. Louis Berg, all of the
    Tonawandas, also survive. Friends
    may call at the Hamp Funeral
    Home, 37 Adam St., Tonawanda
    where services will be at 9 a.m.
    Monday and at 9:30 a.m. in St.
    Francis Church with the Rev. Wil-
    bur Yaeger officiating. Burial in
    Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
