    Marguerite (Peggy) Bergeron Kerwin, 82, on August 20, 2014, at Autumn Ridge of Clarkston, MI, after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 21, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY to Adelard and Elise Bergeron. She lived in Michigan the past 40 years.

    Mrs. Kerwin was a graduate of St. Mary's High School (1949) and Niagara University (1953), both in Niagara Falls, NY. She received a Master's Degree in teaching from Oakland University, Rochester, MI. A kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Kerwin taught for many years in the Niagara Falls and North Tonawanda, NY school districts and then in the West Bloomfield, MI school district, from which she retired in 1996. She then continued to teach pre-school for several years.

    Mrs. Kerwin is survived by two sons, Keith Kerwin of Lansing, MI, and Kevin (Rebecca) Kerwin of South Lyon, MI; and a daughter, Jacquelynn Kerwin of Novato, CA; three grandchildren, Christopher Kerwin and Julia Kerwin, both of Michigan, and Preston Kerwin-Battaglia of California; three sisters, Marilyn Rougeux of Liverpool, NY, Shirlee Berry of Pittsford, NY and Joanne Corsaro of Albany, NY; one brother, William Bergeron of Niagara Falls, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    A Memorial Mass is scheduled for 11 AM on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 5481 Dixie Highway, Waterford, MI, followed by a service at All Saints Cemetery, 4401 Nelsey Road, Waterford, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, D.C. 20090-6011 or online at www.alz.org/join_the_cause_donate.asp. Arrangements by Temrowski Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton, MI.

    A very pretty wedding was solemnized
    at 10 o'clock on- Thanksgiving
    morning In St. Mary's of the Cataract
    church, when Miss Elise M. Flanagan,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Flanagan
    of Fifth street, became the bride
    of Joseph W. Bergeron, son-of Mr. and
    Mrs. William Bergeron of Norwich,
    Conn.
    The ceremony was performed by the
    Rev. Father C. F. Killeen as celebrant,
    assisted by Rev. Father F. A. Oelumbls
    as deacon, and Rev. Father Francis
    Ryan as sub-deacon.
    The bride was charming In a dress
    of hunter's green chiffon with shoes,
    hat and gloves to match. She carried
    i an arm bouquet of pink butterfly roses
    and sweet peas In pastel shades.
    Mrs. H. King, sister of the bride, and
    her only attendant, wore a dress of
    autumn brown georgette with hat.

    gold and bronze pom poms.
    Mr. Francis P. Flanagan, brother of
    the bride, acted as best man.
    Immediately following the ceremony,
    a wedding breakfast was served to
    twenty-eiRht guests, at the home of the
    bride's parents. Covers were laid for
    ten at the bride's table.
    Mr. and Mrs. Bergeron have left on
    a motor trip through the East and
    will be at home at 455 Fifth street
    in the near future.
    Pre-nuptlals for the bride were: A
    personal shower by Mrs; H. King; a
    variety shower by Miss H. A. Oliver
    and a bridge luncheon by Miss Cath
    erine Flanagan.

    superintendent of parks here,
    died Wednesday (March 15,
    1961) at Norwich, Conn., after
    a lengthy illness.
    A native of Canada, she had
    lived most of her life in Norwich.
    Also surviving are two other
    sons, Alfred Bergeron, this
    city, and Walter Bergeron,
    New L o n d o n , Conn.; six
    daughters, Mrs. Eugene La-
    Course, Mrs. D. F. Russi, Mrs.
    Harry Chapman, Mrs. Herbert
    Orowson, Mrs. George Mattison,
    all of Norwich, and Sister
    Mary Wilhelmina, New London;
