    Obituary of Robert D. Woolson
    Robert D. Woolson, age 86, of Lewiston and formerly of Ransomville died Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Robert was born December 28, 1935 in Wilson, the son of the late Donald and Gladys (Schultz) Woolson. He attended the one room schoolhouse on Route 93 in Wilson and graduated from Wilson High School in 1953. Robert served in Hawaii in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960. After his honorable discharge he married Patricia Ann Humphrey on June 4, 1960. She predeceased him in 2013. He went to work for GM Harrison Radiator in Lockport and got a degree in Air Conditioning Maintenance and worked there until his retirement in 1991.Robert was an original member of the Ransomville Slo Pokes, a member of the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co. since 1963 and was a member of the Fire Police and Exempts for over 50 years. He served as a past Secretary, Treasurer and Fire Police Captain. He was a member of the Niagara County Sportsman Club, the Niagara County Fire Police Assoc. and was a life member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge. He enjoyed WNY John Deere 2 Cylinder Club and showing antique tractors. He is survived by his dearest friend, Joan Turrell; his children, Douglas (Barbara) Woolson, Jeffrey (Linda) Woolson, and Kathleen (Randy) Librock; a sister in law, Carol Woolson; his grandchildren, Jason (Sarah), Dustin (Michele), Stephanie and Tyler Woolson, Robert and Kelsey Librock;, Kyle and Sarah Woolson; two step grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Edna Rider; and three brothers, Glenn (late Shirley) Carl and James Woolson.A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:00 am in Dickersonville Cemetery, Ridge Rd., Lewiston, with the Rev. Matthew Worley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ransomville Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, PO Box 239, Ransomville, NY 14131.     LOCKPORT — Patricia A. Woolson, age 72, of Ransomville, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, while under the care of Hospice and her loving family.

    Pat was born May 19, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Hector R. and Dorothy G. (Wright) Humphrey, and was a 1958 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School. She married Robert D. Woolson on June 4, 1960, and they have resided in Ransomville since then. Pat was a bus driver, employed by Ransomville Bus Lines for 15 years, retiring in 1984. She then worked at Buetel Greenhouses.

    She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge. Pat loved to dance, especially with the "cloggers". She was a member of the Tonawanda Cloghoppers for 13 years, performing at many local fairs and festivals. Pat was an avid quilter and gardener. She was a member of the Wilson Garden Club and the Keenan Center Herb Club. She was a Niagara County Master Gardener and also was a gardening columnist for the Lockport Union-Sun. Of all of Pat's interests, she most loved being with her family.

    She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Douglas (Barbara) Woolson of Ransomville, Kathleen (Randy) Librock of Gasport, and Jeffrey (Linda) Woolson of Kettering, OH. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickersonville Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers are most welcome. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.

    LOCKPORT - A one-time
    farmer and retired watchman
    at Loekport Mills Inc., Walter
    M. Schultz, 82, of 9 Adam St.,
    suffered a fatal heart attack
    today (Aug. 26, 1961) at his
    home.
    The first aid squad of the
    Fire Department was summoned
    about 1 a.m. and administered
    Inhalator treatment
    for 45 minutes but was
    unable to revive Mr. Schultz.
    Born in Cambria, Sept. 8,
    1878, Mr. Schultz was the son
    of the late William and Mary
    Cloy Schultz. He farmed for
    many years in the Ransomville
    area before coming to
    Loekport 17 years ago. He retird
    from Loekport Mills in
    1956.
    Survivors i n c l u d e his
    widow, the former Florence M.
    Flynn; four daughters, Miss
    Violet Schultz and Mrs. Donald
    Wilson, both of Ransomvill;
    Mrs. Fred Ingram, Lockport,
    and Mrs. Cletius Rothrock,

    a brother, Herman Schultz,
    Newfane; 11 grandchildren
    and 5 great grandchildren.
    Services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Gaul
    Funeral Home by Rev. Ivan
    Lange. Burial will be in
    North Ridge Cemetery.
