Born in North Tonawanda to the late John and Anna Prohaska, she was the wife of Anthony N. Beringer who died in 1997. Margaret was a 1943 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. She had been employed as a Draftsman for the Wurlitzer Company in North Tonawanda, retiring in 1955. She is survived by three children, Patricia R. Beringer of the Town of Wheatfield, Paul A. Beringer of Lewiston, NY, and Linda M. (David) Odden of the Town of Pendleton; three grandchildren, Eric, Adam and Allison Odden; a brother, Paul (late Lucy) Prohaska of Lockport, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Catherine, Anna, Helen, Elizabeth, Sophie, Marie, Louise, John and Frank. Family will be present on Monday, September 9, from 3-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda, where a funeral service will be held at 8 PM following the visitation. Rev. Robert J. Fink will officiate. Private burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst, NY. Flowers gratefully declined.     years and was a carpenter until
    he retired three years ago. He
    was a member of St. Francis
    Church. Surviving are his wife,

    PROHASKA - John Prohaska, age 83, of 4461 Lower Mountain Road, Lockport, N.
    Y., died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1970 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief
    illness.
    Born in Austria Hungary, Mr. Prohaska had resided in North Tonawanda for
    over 50 years before moving to Lockport 12 years ago. He was employed for
    many years at the former Richardson Boat Co. before retiring in 1947 and was
    a member of St. Joseph's R. C. Church.
    Surviving are his wife, Anna (nee Prohaska); three sons, John of North
    Tonawanda; Frank and Paul Prohaska, both of Lockport; eight daughters, Mrs.
    Catherine Butler, Mrs. Helen Ludwig, Mrs. Edward (Anne) Gougeon, Mrs.
    Richard (Elizabeth) Perry, Mrs. Donald (Sophie) Mellenthine, Mrs. Anthony

    Home, inc., anda and Seymoure Streets, Tonawanda, where prayers will be said
    Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at
    10 o'clock in St. Joseph's Church. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. On
    Thanksgiving Day, calling hours are from 2 to 9 p.m. only. Recitation of
    the Rosary Friday evening at 8 o'clock in the funeral home.

    PROHASKA – Anna Prohaska, 84, of Lower Mountain Rd., Lockport, N.Y., Sunday (June 1, 1975) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Austria-Hungary, Mrs. Prohaska had resided in North Tonawanda for over 50 years before moving to Lockport sixteen years ago. She was the wife of the late John Prohaska and a member of St. Joseph’s R. C. Church.

    Mrs. Prohaska is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Catherine Butler, Mrs. Helen Ludwig, Mrs. Edward (Anna) Gougeon, Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Perry, Mrs. Donald (Sophie) Mellenthine, Mrs. Anthony (Margaret) Beringer, Mrs. Roy) Marie) …..Lockport; also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two brothers in Rumania.

    The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Church. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Sieber, 67. died yestorday at his home.
    340 Main street. He was born in Ger-
    many. For the last 27 years he had
    been a resident of Tonawanda. He was
    a member of the Holy Name society of
    St. Francis's church.
    Surviving are a wife, Rose; two sons,
    John and George; four daughters, the
    Misses Helen and Anna Seiber. Mrs.
    Wendel Beringer and Mrs. Fred Grobe,
    Tonawanda; twenty grandchildren, all
    of Tonawanda and a sister, Mrs. John
    Schambere, Germany. the funeral
    will be held Saturday at 8:30 at the
    house and half an hour later at St.
    Francis's church. The Very Rev. John
    A. Weismantel will officiate and burial
