TONAWANDA - Norman
H. Berndt, 51, of 40 Elm St.,
a driver for the Frontier Taxi
Co., died Friday (Feb. 8, 1963)
at DeGraff Memorial Hospital
after an illness of nine days.
He was a lifelong resident
of the Tonawandas and a
member of St. Fransis of
Assisl Church.
Surviving are his widow,
Loretta Milliman Berndt; a
daughter, Miss Sylvia Berndt,
at home; a brother, Herbert
C. Berndt, North Tonawanda;
and three grandchildren.
Prayers will be said at 9
a.m. Monday at the Wattengell
Funeral Home, followed
by Requiem Mass at 9:30 a.m.
at St. Francis Church. Burial
will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Frank P. Berndt, 62, of 376 Thompson
street died yesterday at his
home. A life long resident, he was
formerly employed for many years
as a millwright at the Carborundum
plant at Niagara Falls.
He Is survived by his wife, Elvlna:
two sons, Herbert and Norman, of
this city; three brothers, John and
Ernest, of this city, and Edward, of
St. Catharines, Ont.
Last rites will be held at the Wattengel
funeral home, 307 Oliver
street. Monday at 2 p. m. The Rev.
Paul H. Gassman will officiate. Interment
will be in Friedens cemetery-

Bernat. Surviving are two sons,

of this city; two brothers, Fred
Pokelwaldt, Medina, and Herman

Anna Heineman, Clarence. Funeral
services will be held Thursday at
2 p.m. at the Wattengell Funeral

E. Milliman, 78, died Monday at
his home. 137 Linwood avenue. He
was born in the town of Wheatfield
and had resided in this vicinity
all his life. He resided In the
town until taking up his residence
In the city 38 years ago.
Surviving are four sons, Frank
E„ Jr.. of Buffalo, Jacob. George
and William, of North Tonawanda;
eight daughters. Mrs. Elmer A.
Brodfueherer, Mrs. Edward Bishop,
Mrs. William Phelan, Mrs James
Phelan, Mrs. Raymond Benz, Mrs.
Norma Berndt and Mrs. Peter
Breier of North Tonawanda, and
Mrs. Charles Heimiller, of Ken-
more, N.Y.; 31 grandchildren and
two sisters, Mrs. Harry Heimckel,
of Philadelpia, and Mrs. Alois
Bohner of Alden, N.Y. Rites will
be held tomorrow afternoon at 2
o'clock at the residence.

NORTH TONAWANDA, Dec. 26 - Mrs. Caroline C. Milliman, nee Donner, 59 years old, died yesterday at her home, 137 Linwood avenue, following a stroke suffered three weeks ago. She was born in Wheatfield and had resided in this vicinity all her life.
She is survived by her husband Frank' eght daughters, Helen, Loretta and Dorothy, Mrs. Elma Brodfuehrer, Mrs. Edward Bishop, Mrs. William Thelan and Mrs. Ray Benz, all of this city, and Mrs. Charles Heinmiller, of Kenmore; four sons Frank, Jr., Jacob, George and William, all of tis city; 24 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Liddel, of Burt, and Mrs. Hannah Hoffman, of Lockport; three brothers, Lawrence Donner, of Wheatfield, Jacob Donner, of this city, and Joseph Donner, of Lockpprt. The funeral will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the house and at 9 from Ascension church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
