    Albert W. Berner, 64, of 138
    Davidson St., Buffalo, a former
    Middleport resident, died Tuesday
    (June 28, 1966) at Sisters
    Hospital. Buffalo, after a lengthy
    illness.
    The son of Mrs. Minnie Lasole
    Berner of Middleport and the
    late Albert Berner, he was born
    May 22, 1902.
    He was employed by the
    Burke Detective Agency in Buffalo.
    Besides his mother, he is survived
    by his widow, Gertrude
    Comrie Berner; a daughter,
    Mrs. Leroy (Johanna) Sautter;
    one son, Robert J. Berner and
    four grandchildren.
    Also surviving are two sisters,
    Mrs. Grace Wooden of
    Schenectady, Mrs. Jeanette
    Dietrich and two brothers, Raymond
    and Calvin Berner.
    Friends may call at the Carlton
    A. Ulrich Funeral Home
    Inc., 3272 Bailey Ave., Buffalo,
    where funeral services will be
    held at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
    The family will be present
    from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

    Mlddleport, early Friday morning.
    He is survived by his wife, Minnie
    Lasal Berner; 4 sons, Norman of
    Akron; Raymond of Detroit, Mich.;
    Calvin of Lockport: Albert of Buf-
    falo; 2 daughters, Mrs, Jennie Deitrich,
    Newark, N. J.; Mrs. Grace
    Woodin of, Schenectady; 11 grandchildren;
    ., 4 great-granchildren
    Friends may call at his late home
    where funeral services will be held
    Sunday afternoon et 3:30, with
    Rev. L. P. Ives officiating. Inter-
    ment will be in Hartland Central
    Cemetery.

    MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Minnie
    M. Lasal Berner, 84, of 1
    Orchard St., widow of Albert
    Berner, died Monday (Sept. 9.
    1968) at Ransomville General
    Hospital after a three-week illness.
    She was born Oct. 21, 1883,
    and had been a lifelong resident
    of Niagara County.
    Mrs. Berner operated a board-
    ing house here for several
    years.
    Her husband died in 1948.
    Surviving are her daughter-
    in-law, Mrs. Albert Berner of
    Buffalo; two grandchildren, Ro-
    bert Berner of Tonawanda and
    Mrs. Leroy Sautter of Buffalo;
    a brother, Peter Lasal of Lock-
    port; two stepdaughters, Mrs.
    Harry Wooden of Schenectady
    and Mrs. Herman Dietrich of
    Lockport; two stepsons, Calvin
    Berner of Lockport and Ray-
    mond Berner of Detroit.
    Friends may call at the Wla-
    lace & Heath Funeral Home
    Inc., Middleport, today from 7
    to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2
    to 4 and 7 to 9, where funeral
    services will be held at 2 p.m.
    Thursday. The Rev. Alfred L.
    Underhill, pastor of the Method-
    ist Church here, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Hartland
    Central Cemetery.
