    LOCKPORT — Joyce L. (Kruzicke) Hess, May 9, 2013, after a long illness, with her family at her side. Born July 30, 1953 in Newfane, she was a daughter of the late Norman R. and Loraine L. (Zastrow) Kruzicke.

    She attended Wilson schools and met and married Clyde Hess May 12, 1973, after dating for five years. Joyce worked for George Bradley tying grapes, worked at Kramp Cold Storage as a bagger, worked at Oldham Saw as a torch repair inspector, and helped cleaned the Hub Hotel with her father, Norman Kruzicke. She was the caregiver of her dad for 10 years. She loved gardening, flowers, the outdoors, camping, bird watching, her dogs and cats, and spending time with her family. Family meant a lot to her.

    Surviving is her husband of 40 years, Clyde R. Hess; son, Clyde (Ellen) Hess of Barker; three grandchildren, Michael of Wilson, Nathanael and Benjamin of Barker; a niece and nephew, Nicholas and Samantha Seefeldt of Wilson; three brothers, Roger (Peggy) Kruzicke of Dansville; Robert (Reeny) Kruzicke of Wilson; Rodney (Fran) Kruzicke of Wilson; and a sister, Lori (Brian) Seefeldt of Wilson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

    Visitation will be Monday, May 13th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, Tuesday, May 14th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15th, at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Hospice or the Wilson Fire Hall.

    WILSON — Norman R. Kruzickie, of Wilson, January 13, 2013. Born in Buffalo, October 31, 1918, he was the son of the late Julian and Catherine (Kochenski) Kruzickie.

    He grew up on the Hess Road Farm and enjoyed gardening, fiddle fadaling in the basement and loved his dogs.

    Norman met Loraine Zastrow in Olcott 1945, and they were married September 7, 1946. He worked for NYSEG as a First Class Gas Fitter, retiring in 1980 after 35 years, and worked at the Hub Hotel for many years.

    A lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church, he was also a member of the Quarter Century Club and the Gas Pipe Fitters Union.

    Surviving him are his children, Joyce (Clyde) Hess, Lorie (Brian) Seefeldt, Robert (Reeny) Kruzickie, Rodney (Fran) Kruzickie, all of Wilson; and Roger (Peggy) Kruzickie of Arkport, NY; grandchildren, Jennifer (Burt), Clydie (Ellen), Steven (Tammy), Nicholas, Samantha and Michael; also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceasing him were his wife, Loraine (Zastrow) Kruzickie, May 5, 1995; and seven siblings.

    Visitation will be Tuesday 4-9 PM in the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 10:30 AM. Memorial contributions to South Wilson Fire Company or to Wilson Fire Company #1.
