Funeral services for Amos
P. Sirgey, 77, of 2231 Willow
Ave., who died Sunday (June
16, 1963) at Mount St. Mary's
Hospital, will be held Wednesday.
He had been ill for
two months.
Mr. Sirgey was born in
Clearfield, Pa. He worked for
43 years at the Olin Mathieson
Chemical Corp. and was
a foreman when he retired
nine years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Hor-
tense Sirgey; two sons, Henry
F. and Thomas F. Sirgey; a
daughter, Mrs. Edward To-
bey; a brother, Charles Sir-
gey; a sister, Mrs. George
Horst, all of this city; and
six grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30
a.m. Wednesday at the Otto
Redanz Funeral Home and at
9 o'clock at Our Lady of
Mount Carmel Church. Burial
will be in Gate of Heaven
Cemetery.

Mrs. Hortense Sirgey, 79, of
2231 Willow Ave., a. resident
of this city for 52 years, died
in Ransomville General Hospital
Wednesday (Sept. 30,
1964) after an illness of a
year.
Her husband, Amos Sirgey,
died in June of 1963.
She was a member of the
.Altar and Rosary Society of
Mt. Carmel Church and the
Ladies of Charity and Third
Order of the church.
Surviving are two sons,
Henry and Thomas Sirgey of
this city; a daughter, Mrs.
Edward (Mary) Tobey, this
city; two sisters, Miss .Stella
Berthot, this city, and Mrs.
Regina Spangler of Clearfield,
Pa.; a brother, Urban Berthot,
of Clearfield, and six grandchildren.
Funeral - services will be
held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at
the Redanz Funeral Home
and at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel Church. Burial
will be in Gate of Heaven
Cemetery. Friends may call
from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9
p.m. today and Friday.
