George A. Wescott 73, of North Tonawanda, June 16, 1987 at Sisters Hospital, Buffalo after a long illness. Formerly of Rochester, NY. Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Koepsell) Wescott; father of Mrs. James (Diane) Pieper of North Tonawanda and Arthur G. (Chum) Wescott of Osan, Korea; grandfather of seven grandchildren; nephew of Lillian Schwalm of Rochester, NY. Friends received by the family Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda, where services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. the Rev Albert Sam will officiate. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. If so desired memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Wescott - Lillian E. Wescott, 76 of North Tonawanda, Saturday. (December 21, 1991) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Wescott was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She was the wife of the late George Wescott, who died in 1987. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James (Diane) Pieper of North Tonawanda and a son Arthur G. (KC) Wescott of Seoul, Korea: five grandchildren, Timothy, Lynda, David (Catherine) Pieper and Alex and William Wescott; one great-grandson Jonathan; two sisters Audrey Sarziniak and Beatrice Arbeiter, both of North Tonawanda; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda, TODAY 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 11:00 a.m The Rev A.W. Moldenhauer will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

NORTH TONAWANDA, Nov 17-
Charles W. Koepsell. 54 years old, 8
Wheatfield street, died yesterday at
the DeGraff Memorial hospital after
a short illness. He had lived in
the town of Wheatfield. where he
was born, and North Tonawanda
all his life. He was a member of
the Remington Rand Social club
and Friedens Evangelical church.
Surviving are seven daughters.
Mrs. Mabel Parks of Niagara Falls,
Mrs. Pauline Brumley, Mrs. Mildred
Hall. Mrs. Lillian.Prescott and the
Misses Lillian. Beatrice and Audrey
Koepsell, all of the Tonawandas:
three sons. Charles, Jr.. Chester and
Norman. North Tonawanda: six
grandchildren, two sisters. Mrs. Edwin
Susty, North Tonawanda, and
Mrs. Otis Case, Olcott, and three
brothers. William, North Tonawanda,
Frank. Hudson Falls, N. Y.,
and John, St. Clair Shores, Mich.
Rites will be held Friday afternoon
at 2:30 o'clock from the residence.
Rev. Theodore Mayer will
officiate and burial will be in
Friedens cemetery.

MRS.LENA KOEPSELL
Mrs. Lena Koepsell, 46, years old, died this morning at her home in 96 Wheatfield street after a lingering illness. Born in North Tonawanda, Mrs. Koepsell, a lifelong resident, was a member of Friedens Evangelical church. In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Harold Brumley, Mrs. Robert Hall, Lillian, Violet, Beatrice and Audrey of the Tonawandas and Mrs. Norman Parks of Niagara Falls and three sons, Charles, Jr., Chester and Norman of this city. She also leaves twosisters, Mrs. Albert Gauda of this city, Mrs. James Bampton of Buffalo and a brother, William Greenburg of North Tonawanda.

Death of Aged Man Unexpected
Christian William Greenburg of Payne avenue died suddenly at his home late last night at 6 o’clock at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife Minnie, three sons, Charles, William and August, and three daughters Mrs. Lena Kepsal, Mrs. Minnie Butler, and Mrs. Tena Bampton, of North Tonawanda. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the house and from the German Lutheran church on East Washington street a half hour later. Burial will be in Sweeney cemetery on Payne avenue. Death was entirely unexpected, Mr. Greenburg having worked up to Tuesday noon on work being done by the city on Oliver street.

Mrs. Christina Greenberg, 74 years old died yesterday afternoon at her home on Payne avenue. She is survived by three sons William, August and Charles Greenburg; three daughters Mrs. Albert Gauda, Mrs. James Bampton and Mrs. Charles Koepsell, 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock from the late residence and a half hour later from St. Paul’s church in Gratwick. Rev. August Elberbach officiating. Interment will be made in Sweeney cemetery.
