DeGraff Memorial Hospital
following a brief illness.
He was born in
Pennsylvania and resided
in North Tonawanda most
of his life.
He was retired from the
Continental Can Company
after 40 years of service
and was a member of the
Dom Polski Club and the
Eldredge Bicycle Club.
He was the brother of the
late Barbara Lorenz and
Bernice Mierzwa. He is
survived by his wif,e
Emily Mierzwa of North
Tonawanda; his daughter,
Mrs. Kim (Audrey)
Monkiewicz of North Ton-
awanda; his son, Michael
W. (Barbara) Miezwe of
Grand Island;two grand-
children, Jacqueline and
Michael Monkiewicz; three
sisters, Mary Kwasnik and
Josephine Beutel, both of
North Tonawanda. and
Catherine Vona of Buffalo;
two brothers, Anthony
Mierzwa of Connecticut,
and Joseph (Florence)
Mierzwa of North Tonawanda
and also many
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call SATURDAY
from 7 to 9 p.m.
and Sunday from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. at the
Larango-Colucci Funeral
Home. Oliver Street at
Fifth Avenue. North Tonawanda.
Funeral services
will be held at the convenience
of the family. Interment
Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
The Dom Polski Club
will meet Sunday evening
at 7:30 p.m. for services.
