    NIAGARA FALLS —
    Lottie A. (Wach) McKedy, 84, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in James G. Johnston Nursing Home in the Town of Union, NY. Born on February 26, 1929 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine K. (Nawrocki) Wach.
    She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1946. She was married to John E. McKedy on September 1,1947 until his death on September 26, 1990. She worked for the Niagara Falls Board of Education (Cafeteria worker-cook for 35 years). Upon retiring in 1992, she enjoyed reading, gardening, baking and spending time traveling with her friends. Lottie was a member of the former Our Lady of The Rosary Church.
    She is survived by her son, John W. (Arlene) McKedy of Vestal, NY; cherished grandchildren, Michael, Alex and Craig; her sister, Cecilia (Late David) Carrier of Berholtz, NY; in-laws, James and Ann Flynn, Lewis and Emily Forgy, Andrew and Dorothy McKedy. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, David P. (Sam) McKedy; brothers, Joseph (Lorraine) Wach, William (Josephine) Wach; and her sister, Helen (Marshall) Baker, George (Veronica) McKedy, and Edward (Esther) McKedy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, and some close friends.
    Friends may call Monday, June 17th from 8:30-9:30 AM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME, INC., 319-24th St. cor. Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will begin at 9:30 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's of The Cataract RC Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303 with Reverend Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery Lewiston, NY.
