    plans for their wedding Saturday

    afternoon, Nov. 27, at 2 o'clock In
    the Church of the Good Shepherd.
    the Rev. James Cosbey Jr. of Le
    Roy officiating. The maid of honor
    will be Miss Margaret A. Bewley of
    Lockport and Niagara Palls, sister
    of the bridegroom-elect. Maj. Ft
    Douglas Montondo of Ft. Mon-
    mouth, N. J., will be the best man.
    Ushers will be James B. Culbertson
    of Lockport, brother-in-law of
    the future bridegroom; Robert W.
    Bewley of Syracuse, a cousin:
    Morris R. Bucher ot Newfane and
    Harry M. Dickinson of Lockport.
    A number of parties are planned
    preceding the wedding. On Nov. 5
    In the evening Miss Margaret E.
    Smith of Dorchester Rd. will entertain.
    On Nov. 8 Mrs. George C.
    Bewely of Lockport, mother of the
    bridegroom; Mrs. Culbertson a nd
    Miss Bewley will give a luncheon
    In Park Hotel In Lockport.
    Mr. and Mrs. Bucher will entertain
    at dinner Nov. 10 in t h e ir
    home and on Nov. 15 Miss Bernice
    G. Jung of Millicent Ave. will give
    a punch party In her home. Miss
    C. Elizabeth Wurtz entertained Friday
    evening In her home, 819 Starin
    Ave.

    Torcheres, baskets of white and yellow pompons against a

    background of palms formed the setting this afternoon for the
    marriage of Miss Janet Elizabeth Mimken. daughter of Nicholas
    Herman Mimken of 24 Wellington Road, Buffalo, to George
    William Bewley, son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Bewley of 590
    East Ave., Lockport. The front pews of the church of the Good
    Shepherd, Jewett Parkway, Buffalo were marked with white
    mums for the 2 o'clock service, the Rev. James Cosby Jr. of
    Trinity Cathedral, Cleveland, officiating at the ceremony.
    Entering with her father, the
    bride was clad In toast-colored lace
    over pale pink net fashioned with
    a heart-shaped neckline and c ap
    sleeves. Her hat and mitts were
    of matching lace and she wore a
    short veil of French illusion. Gold
    beads, the gift of her paternal
    grandmother, were worn and she
    carried a cascade bouquet of yellow
    fulgi mums centered with a
    white orchid.
    MAID OF HONOR
    Miss Margaret A. Bewley of Lockport
    was her maid of honor. Her
    gown ,of chocolate-brown lace over
    pale pink net was made like the
    bride's and she also wore matching
    hat and mitts. A cascade bouquet
    of glorlosia lilies and bronze pom-
    pons carried out the color scheme

    of the bridal party.
    Beet man was Major R. Douglas
    Mbntondo of Fort Monmouth, N.J.
    and ushers were James B. Culbertson
    and Harry N. Dickinson of
    Lockport, Robert W. Bewley of Syracuse
    and Morris A. Bucher of
    Newfane. ,
    Mrs. Bewley, the groom's mother,
    chose a grey crepe ensemble
    and black hat trimmed with pink
    and green ostrich plumes. Her corsage
    was of pale pink roses.
    White and yellow mums formed
    the background for the b r i d al
    group at a reception held at La
    Marque, 636 Delaware Ave.
    GUESTS ATTENDING
    Out-of-town guests included: Mr.
    and Mrs. William B. Gay, and Miss
    Ruth Hogge, of Hamilton, O n t .;
    Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Seagers
    of Geneva; Mr. and Mrs. Burton
    J. Mimken of Scotia; Richard Maybach.
    of Washington; Mr. and Mrs.
    Walter Parker of Watertown; and
    Mrs. George S. Salzman, of Cleveland,
    O.
    For traveling the bride chose a
    dark brown costume suit combining
    slipper satin and wool crepe.
    Brown accessories and hat w i th
    beige and rust ostrich plumes completed
    her ensemble. Upon their
    return the bridal couple will take
    up temporary residence at 24 Wellington
    Road, Buffalo.
    The bride Is a graduate of Russell
    Sage College in Troy. The groom
    graduated from Riverside Military
    Academy, Gainesville. Ga. and later
    attended Lehigh University.
