    Middleport: Floyd A. Beyer, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 27, 2021. He was born September 26, 1941 in Lockport to the late Floyd and Thelma (Buccue) Beyer.
    Floyd worked as an Electrician for 37 ½ years for the NYS Thruway Authority and was a Junior member of the Wilson Conservation Club for over 50 years. Floyd enjoyed collecting toy tractors and going to toy shows and farm shows. He was an avid hunter as well.
    In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Bev (late Dick), Cornelius, Don, and Sharon Williams.
    Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Helen, children, Doug (Tania), Deb (Rob), Duane (Erin), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Barbara Beyer, brother-in-law, Richard Williams, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home 38 State St. Middleport, NY 14105 on Thursday, July 1st from 3:00-7:00pm where his funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00am. Private interment will be held in North Ridge Cemetery in Cambria.

    unite Miss Helen Ann Lester
    and Floyd Albert Beyer.
    Baskets of white gardenias
    will adorn the altar of the
    North Ridge Methodist
    Church for the ceremony.
    Mr. and Mrs E d w a r d
    Lester of the Daniels Road,
    Ransomville, are the parents
    of the bride. The bridegroom
    is the son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Floyd Beyer of the
    Nelson Road, Wilson, N. Y.
    Carrying a cascade bouquet
    of white glamellias accented
    with ivy, the bride
    will be given In marriage
    by her father She will wear
    a full - length gown of gardenia
    white angel lace styled
    with a bateau neckline
    sprinkled with sequins. Scalloped
    tiers of lace form the
    bouffant skirt which terminates
    in a chapel - length
    train and a coronet of pearls
    and crystals holds her bouffant
    veil of English illusion.
    Serving as her sister's
    honor attendant will be Mrs.
    Lorena Williams of Ransomville,
    wearing a gown of
    white satapeau over blue
    taffeta. The full - length
    gown Is styled with a fitted
    bodice of lace and features
    a flying panel. Adding a
    matching headpiece, she will
    complete her ensemble with
    an arm bouquet of white
    carnations tinted blue.
    Wearing identical gowns
    but in pink, orchid, mint
    green, yellow and sherbet,
    will be the attendants, Mrs.
    Barbara Beyer of Cambria,
    sister-in-law of the bridegroom:
    Mrs. Ella Lester of
    Ransomville, sister - in - law
    of the bride. Miss Sharon
    Beyer of Wilson, sister of
    the bridegroom, Miss Rosemary
    Brawn of Wilson, cousin
    of the bride; and as Junior
    attendant, Linda Lester
    of Ransomville, sister of the
    bride.
    Cindy Williams, niece of
    the bride will serve as flower
    girl and James Beyer,
    nephew of the bridegroom,
    will bear the rings.

    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
    Beccue of Carlton place and Floyd
    Beyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
    Beyer of Wilson were united In
    marriage Saturday afternoon, July
    25, at the home of the bride's parents,
    Rev. Irvin Lynds officiating.
    The Lohengrin wedding march was
    played by Carlton Drew Jr.
    The bride, who was given In
    marriage by her father was lovely
    in a white moire gown fashioned on
    long lines with short jacket Taring
    below the waist. Her fingertip
    veil was made cap shape, encircled
    with a wreath of orange blossoms
    and pearls and she carried an arm
    bouquet of white roses and baby
    breath tied with white ribbon.
    Miss Lena Thomas was maid of
    honor, gowned in yellow moire
    fashioned the same as the bride's
    gown and she carried an arm bouquet
    of talisman roses and blue
    delphinium. Karl Beccue. brother
    of the bride acted as best man. The
    bride's gift to her maid was a white
    beaded evening bag and to his best
    man the groom presented a bill
    fold.
    A reception to the immediate
    families followed the ceremony,
    twelve being seated at the bridal
    table which was attractively decorated
    in yellow and white.

    Cambria, died today (Oct. 23,
    1963) in Lockport Memorial
    Hospital after being ill for
    nine months.
    Born Dec. 8, 1884, in Buffalo,
    the son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Charles Beyer, he had lived
    at the Ridge Road address for
    about 20 years. He had operated
    his own vending machine
    business throughout the
    county, for the last 10 years.
    Earlier he had,been employed
    by Buffalo Pump Co. for five
    years and was a watchman at
    the United Board and Carton
    Co. for seven years.
    Me was a member of the
    C a m b r i a Congregational
    Church and the Cambria volunteer
    Fire Co.
    Surviving are his wife,
    Irene Rankie Beyer; two
    daughters, Mrs. Jacob Kolb,
    North Tonawanda, and Mrs.
    John School of Los Angeles,
    Calif.; four sons, Ron Beyer,
    Tacoma, Wash., Floyd Beyer,
    Wilson; Charles and Richard
    Beyer, both of Lockport; two
    step-sons, Howard and La-
    Verne Glena, both of Lockport;
    a step-daughter, Mrs.
    Howard Mclntyre, Lockport,
    23 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
    Friends may call from 2-4
    and 7-9 p.m. at the Gaul Funeral
    Home. A service will
    be conducted at 2:30 p.m.
    Friday by Rev. Walter H.
    Butt, pastor of the Cambria
    Congregational Church. Burial
    will be in North Ridge
    Cemetery.

    Mrs. Mary Beyer, 71, of Route
    104, Cambria, died Monday night
    (May 13, 1957) in Lockport Memorial
    Hospital after a two-year
    illness.
    She was born Sept. 18, 1885 In
    Buffalo, the daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. William Unterfenger. She
    had lived in Cambria for the past
    15 years with her husband, Wal
    ter H. Beyer, who survives.
    Mrs. Beyer was a member of
    Cambria Fire Auxiliary and the
    Ladies Aid Society of Cambria
    Congregational Church.
    Besides her husband, surviving
    are four sons, Charles of Lockport;
    Richard of Cambria; Roy W.
    of Tacoma, Wash.; and Floyd of
    Wilson; two daughters, Mrs. Jacob
    KoH>, North Tonawanda; and
    Mrs. John Scholl, Los Angeles,
    Calif.; three sisters, Bars. Frank
    Warning, Mrs. Clarence Goetz,
    both of Buffalo; and Mrs. Anthony
    Heckman, St. Petersburg,
    Fla.; 17 grandchildren; a
    great-grandchildren.
    Services will be Thursday afternoon
    at 2:30 in Gaul Funeral
    Home, 263 East Ave., with the
    Rev. Morris Burns officiating.
    Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.

    Ill for more than 5 years. Walter
    K. Beccue, 64, retired police
    sergeant and Spanish-American
    War Veteran, died Sunday evening
    at his home, 32 Carlton Place.
    Mr. Beccue was born in Lockport
    March 24, 1882, son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Abraham Beccue. His father op-
    erated a hotel in Park Avenue.
    The son attended the former
    Hawley and Washburn Street
    schools. When war broke out with
    Spain he answered the call to the
    colors and served with the 42nd
    Regiment, U.S. Volunteers, in the
    Philippines.
    Before failing health forced his
    retirement in 1932, Mr. Beccue
    served 23 years in the Lockport
    Police Department. Appointed a
    patrolman on April 1, 1909, he rose
    from the ranks to detective sergeant
    and served in that capacity for sev-
    eral years. Unable to perform the
    latter duties because of his health,
    he served as desk sergeant for a
    short time before he retired.
    Mr. Beccue was a member of the
    Hickory Club and Lockport Lodge,
    73, F&AM.
    Surviving are his wife, Amelia
    Buhs Beccue; a daughter, Mrs.
    Floyd Beyer of Wilson and three
    sons, Karl W., William A. and Don-
    ald R. Beccue of Lockport. There
    are seven grandchildren.
    Services will be held Wednesday
    at 2:30 at the Clemens O. Gaul
    Funeral Home, 263 East Ave.
    Burial will be in St. Peter's Ceme-
    tery.

    orrhage early this morning while
    visiting at the home of her son,
    Mrs. Amelia Beccue, 67, was pro-
    nounced dead upon arrival at
    Lockport City Hospital.

    served on the Lockport Police
    Force for 23 years, had been making
    her home with her daughter,
    Mrs. Floyd Beyer, in Wilson for
    tour years. She was spending a
    few days with her youngest son,
    Donald Beccue, 1S1 Lock St.. when
    she became ill.

    the daughter of John and Elisabeth
    Saltzman Buhs, Mrs. Beccue
    lived In Lockport approximately
    38 years. She was a member of
    the Auxiliary to United Spanish
    War Veterans.

    Donald, she Is survived by two
    other sons, Karl W and William
    A., both of Lockport, ten grandhildren,
    two sisters and two
    brothers, Mrs. Louis Panten, Mrs.

    Clarence Dietsel and John Buhs,
    all of Buffalo, aad William Buhs
    of Chicago.
    Services will be held Friday at
    2 o'clock at Gaul Funeral Home,
    253 East Ave., the Rev. Walter
    L. Kingsley, pastor of Wilson
    Methodist Church, officiating.
    Burial will be in St. Peter's Lu-
    theran Cemetery.
