    NORTH TONAWANDA — Marjorie J. (Dimond) Hollinger, a lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. She was 96. She was born on December 31, 1916, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Mina Belle (Burmingham) Dimond. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.

    During World War II, Mrs. Hollinger was employed as a production worker at the former Niagara Searchlight Company and then for several years as a seamstress with the Singer Sewing Machine Company. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

    She is survived by her children, Martha J. (Joseph) Cram and Judith E. (James) Taylor, all of Murchison, TX and Duncan C. Hollinger of Niagara Falls; her siblings, Kenneth (Emily) Dimond of Port Charlotte, FL, Paul (Joan) Dimond of Pittsburgh, PA, and Verla (Allan) Barlow of Freedom, PA; her niece, Mrs. Ann Newman of North Tonawanda, NY; grandchildren, James and Joseph Cram, Judy Ryles, Jeff, Terry and Peter Wackett and Jennifer Wright; 21 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hollinger was predeceased by her husband, James Hollinger in 1997; brothers, Donald and Richard Dimond; a sister, Ruth Neuman and grandchildren, Roger Wackett, Cheryl Cram and James Wackett; and great-granddaughter, Lauren Cram.

    Family will be present Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Ave., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Jean Edmister, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 8210 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14304; or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1775 Wehrle Dr., #150, Buffalo, NY 14221.

    summer home at Long Point, Ont.,
    Aug. 28 after a long illness. Serv-

    ices were held Wednesday at the
    Lane Funeral Borne with the Rev.
    Donald A. Robinson officiating.
    Mr. Hollinger resided in this
    area for the past 53 years and
    was employed at the Du Pont
    plant for 45 years. He retired
    eight years ago as foreman. He
    was a member of the Du Pont 25-
    Year Club and the Foreman's
    Club.
    Surviving are his wife, Mabel
    Hollinger; four daughters, Mrs.
    Edward Ferguson and Mrs.
    George Henry, Niagara Falls;
    Mrs. James Lum, Sanborn and
    Mrs. George Roehrig, North Ton-
    Eanda; two sons, James Hotger,
    Niagara Falls and Grant
    Hollinger, Snborn; three sisters,
    Mrs. Ellis Wheeler, Acton, Ont.;
    Mrs. Dan MacDonald. Tusllch,
    Ont.. and Mrs. Victoria Kroetch,
    Niagara Falls. He also if survived
    by tea grandchildren and
    two great-grandchildren.
    Burial was in Memorial Park
    Cemetery, Niagara Falls.

    Duncan married SPECK, Mabel on 12 Apr 1905 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Mabel (daughter of SPECK, William and Mary Anna) was born in Sep 1886 in New York; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
