    LODI - Thomas Biddle. 50, died
    unexpectedly this morning at Geneva
    General Hospital. Funeral arrangements
    are incomplete pending
    word from a brother in Arizona.
    Mr. Biddle was born in Ovid,
    Oct. 1907. He was the son of
    Ernest Biddle and the late Mary
    Biddle of Ovid. A painter by trade,
    he was appointed South Seneca
    County Dog Warden in 1957. He
    was a member of Painters Local
    179, Geneva.
    Survivors are his father; a sis-
    ter, Mrs. Charles Farr, of Lodi;
    two brothers, Herbert Biddle of
    Scottsvile, N.Y.; and Donald Bid-
    dle of Flag Staff, Arizona and
    three nephews.

    J. Biddle, 80, Chapman St.
    will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednes-
    day from the John D. Covert Fun-
    eral Home. The Rev. Richmond
    Hutchins, priest-in-charge of Christ
    Episcopal Church, Willard, will of-
    ficiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross
    Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral
    home at their convenience.
    Mr. Biddle died last night in

    Taylor-Brown Memorial Hospital,
    Waterloo, following a short illness.
    He was a native of Birmingham.
    England, the son of James and
    Ellen Hughes Biddle. He came to
    the United States when he was a
    young boy. He had been retired the
    last 19 years from Willard State
    Hospital, where he had been a
    painter for 32 years.
    Survivors are a daughter, Mrs.
    Charles Farr of Lodi; two sons
    Herbert Biddle, Scottsville and
    Donald Biddle of Flagstaff, Ariz.;
    three sisters, Mrs. Edith Seagle,
    Mrs. Jane Archer and Mrs. Lottie
    Oertel, all of syracuse and three
    grandchildren.

    Ovid, Aug 15-Mrs. Mary Gol-
    way Biddle, 68, wife of Ernest J.
    Biddle died this morning in Sene-
    ca Falls hospital after a short ill-
    ness. She was stricken ill yester-
    day morning.
    Funeral services will be held
    Friday morning at 9 from the
    home, Chapman St., Ovid, and at
    9:30 from Holy Cross church. Rev.
    Thomas P. Stafford will officiate.
    Burial will be in Holy Cross cem-
    etery.
    Mrs. Biddle was born in Ovid,
    and had lived there all her life.
    She was the daughter of Thomas
    Golway and Mary Condery Gol-
    way.
    She was a charter member of
    the court St. Elizabeth, Catholic
    Daughters of america, and a for-
    mer district deputy of CDA.
    Survivors are her husband, Er-
    nest; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude
    Farr of Lodi; three sons, Thomas
    and Donald Biddle of Ovid; Her-
    bert Biddle of Rochester; a broth-
    er, Samuel Golway of Ovid; and
    three grandchildren.

    Searle of Baldwinsville and Mrs. R.
    E. Archer and Mrs. W. J. Oertel of
    Syracuse; a son, E. J. Biddle of
    Ovid; 18 grandchildren and six
    jgreat-grandchildren. Funeral tomor-
    row at 2:30 p.m. with burial in
    Woodlawn.
