    Edmund J. “Bud” Kenyon, age 88, of the City of Tonawanda, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at his residence, under the care of Hospice. Born in the Martinsville section of North Tonawanda, he had been a resident of Tonawanda for the past 58 years and was the father-in-law of the late Sherry Kenyon, and brother of the late Marguerite Siefke. Bud was a 1938 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and was a US Army Veteran serving during World War II. He had been employed as a Machine Operator for Chevrolet Div. of GM for 34 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served as Vice President and Financial Secretary of the Church Board, and was a member of the Church Choir. He was also a member of Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion, the Tonawandas’ Senior Citizens and was a former member of the Bargemen Singing Group. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gladys (nee Ingraham) Kenyon; two children, Karen (William) Bowers of Evans, GA and Paul Kenyon (Kim) of North Tonawanda; four grandchildren, Scott Bowers, Daniel (Jutka) Bowers, Meaghan (Randall) Zapata and Shaun Kenyon and three great-grandchildren, Noah, Caleb and Hannah Bowers. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. A private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery with Military Honors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Tuesday (June 10th) at 1:00 PM in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 107 Scott St. (cor. of William St.), in Tonawanda. The Rev. Keith D. Blom will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to Hospice Buffalo Foundation. Arrangements by John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., Tonawanda, NY.

    CITY OF TONAWANDA — Gladys M. (nee Ingraham) Kenyon, age 92, of the City of Tonawanda, Sunday, October 7, 2012, at her residence under the care of Hospice. Born in Wilson, NY to William and Helen (nee Harbison) Ingraham, she grew up in the Tonawandas, graduating from North Tonawanda High School in 1939. She married Edmund "Bud" Kenyon in 1943 and they had been married for 65 years at the time of Bud's death in 2008. Gladys retired from Marine Midland Bank in 1980 and enjoyed an active retirement. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tonawanda where she was a choir member, served on the Altar Guild and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

    Gladys is survived by her son, Paul (the late Sherry) Kenyon of North Tonawanda; her daughter, Karen (Bill) Bowers of Evans, GA; her grandchildren, Shaun Kenyon, Scott (Allison) Bowers, Daniel (Jutka) Bowers and Megan (Randall) Zapata; her great-grandchildren, Noah, Caleb, Hannah, Jonah and Jacob Bowers, Zachary and Will Zapata; and several beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

    There will be no prior visitation. A private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 13th at 10:00 AM in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver St. in North Tonawanda. The Rev. Andrew Abraham will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to Hospice Buffalo. Arrangements by John O.     Charles F. Wilke,,79, a lifelong
    resident of North Tonawanda, died
    this morning at his home, 592 Falls
    boulevard, following a heart attack.
    He was ernployed at the Rudolph
    Wurlitzer manufacturing
    Company's plant until he retired
    nine years ago.
    Surviving are his wife, Louise,
    ree Luedersdorf; three daughters
    Mrs. Edmund Kenyon, Mrs. Lynn
    Griffis and Mrs. Oscar Muck, of
    North Tonawanda; six grandchildren,
    two great grandchildren and
    a brother, William, of North Ton-
    awanda. Rites will be held Mon-
    day afternoon at 2 o'clocl from
    the residence and at 2:30 from the
    St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The
    Rev. F. A. Hinners will officiate
    Burial will be in St. Paul's ceme-
    tery.
