Born in Johnsonburg, Pa.,
he lived here for the last 25
years. He retired from the
Union Carbide Meials Co.
plant in 1959.
Survivors include five daughters,
Mrs. Katherine Myrtle
and Mrs. Margaret Carter,
both of this city, Mrs. Louise
Minns, Cottonwood, Calif. Mrs.
Lucille Myrtle, Reynoldsville,
Pa., and Mrs. Jean Morgan,
Grampian, Pa.; f i v e sons,
George L. and .Forrest C.
Bierley, both of this city,
Thomas N. Bierley, Tonawanda,
William J. Bierley, Jr.,
Las Vegas, and James B.Bierley,
Grampian, Pa.; a sister,
Mrs. Margaret Brasser, Du-
Bois, Pa.; and a brother, Robert

grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held at the
Gridley Funeral Home Thursday
at 11 a.m. Rev. Canon
Richard B. Townsend will officiate.
Burial, will be in Oakwood
Cemetery.
