    Staff Sergt Anthony C Biernacki,
    44, a member of Co. F,
    108th Inf., 40th Division and a
    lifelong resident of Medina, died
    Tuesday morning in tha Veteran's
    Hospital, Batavia, where he
    was taken on Thursday of last
    week suffering ^from a streptoc-
    cal infection of the throat. He

    had seen service in the Philip-
    pines and was granted a fur-
    lough to his home. Before en-
    tering the service he was steward

    at the sacred Heart Club
    He Is survived by his parents,
    Mr. and Mrs, Frank Biernacki
    of Gulf Street; four sisters, Mrs:
    Helen Kurdziel, Martha, Sophie
    and Berniese, all of Medina; and
    three brothers, John and Stanley
    of Medina, and Sgt- Edward
    Biernacki with the 1st Cavalry
    to the Pacific area.
    funeral services will be held
    Saturday morning to Sacred
    Heart Church. Burial will be to
    Sacred Heart Cemetery

    MEDINA - Mrs. Margaret Ann
    Biernacki, 66, the mother of John
    Biernacki of Lockport, died unex
    pectedly in her home, 166 Gulf St.,
    Tuesday morning (Nov. 23, 1958).
    Born in Poland, Mrs. Biernacki
    lived most of her life in Medina.
    Her husband. Frank, died in 1947
    She was a member of Sacred
    Heart Roman Catholic Church, and
    belonged to its Rosary Society,
    She Is also survived by two other
    sons, Stanley of Medina and Ed
    ward of Albion; four daughters,
    Mrs. Helen Kurdziel, Mrs. Bernice
    Pasnik, and Mrs. Martha Frczak.
    all of Medina, and Mrs. Sophie

    Skieinski of Columbus, Ohio; a sister,
    Mrs. Joseph Slawski of Mi
    dina; 16 grandchildren and several
    nieces and nephews.
    Services will be conducted at
    8:30 Friday morning in her home,
    and the Rev. Joseph Rydz will offer
    a Requiem Mass at 9 In Sacred
    Heart Church.
    Burial will be in Sacred Heart
    Cemetery.
