    Home, Adams Center!
    where he had been a patient
    for one year.
    The funeral will be 1 p.m.
    Sunday at the Piddock Funeral
    Home with the Rev.
    David Bergner, pastor of
    the Lorraine and Mannsville
    United Methodist
    churches, officiating. Burial
    will be in Rural Cemetery,
    Adams. Calling hours
    are Saturday at the funeral
    home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
    Survivors include one
    daughter, Mrs. Donald (Arlene)
    Moore, Lorraine; four
    stepsons, Gary Brown,
    Adams Center; Allen
    Brown, Watertown; Austin
    Brown, Potsdam, and
    Lewis Brown, Adams; 13
    grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren.
    Mr. Bilkey was born June
    20,1886, in the Town of Lorraine,
    son of Henry P. and
    Anna Fee Bilkey. He married
    Ethel Caulkins June
    28, 1916. She died April 26,
    1924. He and Mrs. Blanche
    Brown were wed March 12,
    1956. She died Aug. 5, 1963.
    He operated farms in the
    Lorraine area until his retirement
    and was town supervisor
    from 1921-1937. He
    attended Lorraine United
    Methodist Church and was
    a 50-year member of the
    Lorraine Grange.

    George married CAULKINS, Ethel on 28 Jun 1916 in Jefferson County, NY. Ethel (daughter of CAULKINS, Everett N and MOORE, Martha) was born on 18 May 1892 in Lorraine, Jefferson County, NY; died on 26 Apr 1924 in Lorraine, Jefferson County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    -Married, at the home of Mr. and
    Mrs. E. N. Caulkins, June 28, their
    daughter, Miss Ethel .Caulkins, to
    George Bilkey of Lorraine. The
    bride, after having four showers given
    in her honor, was very quietly married,
    attended by her cousin, Kiss
    Laura Moore of Adams, and Ray W.
    Moore of Lorraine. the impressive
    ceremony was performed by Rev.
    Frederick Maunder of the M. E.
    church of Adams. The wedding sup-
    per was served by Mrs. Maude Grim-
    shaw of Watertown. The bride is
    one of Lorraine's fair daughters. The
    many gifts testified to their popu-
    larity. the groom is a prosperous
    farmer, living one-half mile from the
    village. They are touring the state
    in the Bilkey car for their wedding
    journey. Congratulations and best
    wishes attend them.

    by Undertaker Lester in the Lyman burying
    ground, Lorraine.

    MAY 4.-Died at the home of her
    daughter, Mrs. Silas Hall, at Syra-
    cuse, Mrs. Clarissa Bilkey, widow of
    he late Eugene Bilkey, aged 69 years,
    she leaves two sons and two daughers,
    Amelia and Eugene of Syracuse,
    lenrv and Emma of Lorraine. She
    had been a resident of Lorraine for
    about twenty .six years till about one
    year ago, when she went to reside
    with her daughter. Her remains
    were brought to Lorraine for burial.
    The funeral was conducted by Rev.
    Mr. Daily at the M. E. church; April
    26.
