JOAN HONORA CASSATA, age 76 of Wheatfield, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly on July 11, 2020 at her residence. Born in Buffalo, NY on August 25, 1943, daughter of the late Ambrose and Jeanne (Trembley) Bille. Joan was employed as the manager of a beauty salon, at the former Jenss Department Store, located in the Boulevard Mall. She enjoyed bowling, was a great cook, and loved the quality time spent with her family.
Survivors include her devoted husband, John V. Cassata. They were married August 10, 1963; loving mother of Jeanne (Michael Cicero) Geartz, and Joseph (Laura) Cassata; grandmother of Katie Morski, Sara Geartz, Joseph Cassata and Megan Cassata; great-grandmother of Leo Morski; sister in law of, Joan McGuire and Gail Bille; and an aunt to four nephews, Kevin, Matthew, Andrew and Jonathan.
Also predeceased by two brothers, Ambrose D. Bille and Robert Bille.
Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday, July 25th. from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Services will follow the visitation at noon.

lengthy illness. Mrs. Bille was
a member of St. Albert the
Great Roman Catholic Church,
the Ladies Auxiliary of St.
Johnsburg Fire Co., and was
an employe of Durez.
She is survived by her husband.

daughter Mrs. John (Joan)
Cassata of the Town of Wheatfield;
four grandchildren; her
mother. Mrs. Adelia Tremblay
of Hamburg, NY.; two brothers,

sisters. Mrs. Honora Duguay
of Hamburg. NY., Mrs. John
(Yvonne) Stendahl of Kenmore,
NY., and Mrs. Florence Fox
of the Town of Tonawanda.
The family will receive
friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m., at the Fretthold Funeral
Home. Inc., 1241 Oliver ST., at
Ward Rd„ North Tonawanda,
where prayers will be said
Saturday at 8:15 a.m., followed
by a Mass of the Resurrection
at St. Albert the Great Church
at 8:4S. Interment Mt. Olivet
Cemetery.
