Ransomville They spent a
honeymoon in Toronto. Ont.,
and are at home on Porter-

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elmer
Bills of Ransomville were
honored at a buffet dinner
Saturday in celebration of
their 50th wedding anversary.
Hosted by their
children, guests attended from
Ransomville, Rochester,
Albion, Dansville, Indiana and
Maine.
Charles Elmer Bills of
Niagara Falls, and the former
Jean A. Newing were married
June 16,1934 and lived most of
their married lives in Ransomville.
She is the daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs, Clifford
Newing, and he is the son
of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank
M. Bills.
They have five children,
Charles (Nancy) Bills, Mrs.
Frank (Beverly) Jeffery, Mrs.
Elmer (Gail) Holstrom, Paul
(Brenda) Bills, all of Ransomville,
and Mrs. Scott
(Jacqueline) Fetterhoff of Jay,
Maine. They also have several
grandchildren.
The honored couple received
many good wishes and gifts.

Holley NY Standard - 10/14/1954

Frank M. Bills of Albion, aged
70, died at the Green Acres Nursing
Home on Wednesday, Oct. 6,
1954, after a long illness. A resident
of Albion for the last 30
years, he was a carpenter and an
engineer at the Albion GLF storage.
He was a member of the Albion
Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian
Reed Bills; four sons, Howard
of Attica, Elmer of Porter, and
Donald and Dayton of Rochester;
a daughter, Mrs. Clarabel Bliss of
Rochester; nine grandchildren; a
sister, Mrs. Edith Scharping; and
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in Albion
on Saturday afternoon, and
interment was made in Mt. Albion
Cemetery.

Frank married REED, Lillian A about 1906 in Kent, Orleans County, NY. Lillian was born about 1884 in Kent, Orleans County, NY; died on 8 Jul 1967 in Rochester, Monroe County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

ALBION-Mrs. Lillian A. Bills, 83, of 63 Sethgreen
Drive, Rochester, died Saturday (July 8, ,1967) in
Rochester General Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Kent. N.Y.
and for most of her life had
resided in the Albion area. She
was a member of the Albion
Baptist Church and its Dorcas
Circle. In Rochester, she "was
a member of the Church of the
Master. For the last 12 years
she had resided in Rochester.
She is survived by four sons,
Howard of A.ttica. Charles of
Ransomville, Donald and Dayton,
both of Rochester; a
daughter, Mrs. Howard Bliss of
Rochester. El e v e n grandchil-
dren and 11 great grandchildren
and several nieces and
nephews "also survive.
Friends may call at their
convenience at the Scharett and
Mitchell Funeral Home, 21
West Ave., Albion, where funeral
services will be held
Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev.
Lawrence Plumley of the Albion
Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount
Albion Cemetery.
