    Hospttal, Francis Edward, son of
    Mabel and Fitch S. Bills, aged 8
    years, 6 months.
    Funeral will take plaee from Mul-
    len's funeral parlors. Thursday
    morning at 9 o'clock. Services at
    St. Alphonsus' Church at 9:30.
    Burial In St. Joseph's Cemetery

    Fitch Stanley Bills Sr., a well
    known Auburian, died Sunday
    afternoon at his home, 67 E.
    Genesee St., after a long illness.
    Mr. Hills was born in Auburn
    and resided here most of his life.
    He operated the Island Park Hotel,
    now Deauville on Owasco
    lake. from 1919 through 1935.
    He took a keen Interest In all.
    types of sports and became widely
    known.
    Mr. Bills was a member of St.
    Alphonsus Church.
    Surviving are his wife. Mabel
    Sewall Bills: two sons. Milo and
    Fitch Jr.. six grandchildren: a
    sister, Mrs. Elisabeth Parksrson
    of island Orove, Fla.
    Services will be held at 3 a.m.
    Wednesday at the Hemans Funeral
    Home with further services
    at 1:11 a.m. at St. Alphoasus
    Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's
    Cemetery.

    Mrs. Mabel Pickard Bills, 72.
    widow of Fitch S. Bills, formerly
    of 49 E. Genesee St.. died at the
    Cauga County informary Friday
    afternoon after an illness of several
    months.
    She was born in Oswego and
    came to this city at an early age
    and had always resided here. She
    leaves two sons. Fitch S. Bills of
    this city and Milo Bills of Scipio
    Center; seven .grandchildren; one
    sister, Mrs. Herman Frank, and
    one brother, Louis Sewell, both of
    this city. Services will be at the
    funeral home of E. A. Heieck &
    Son at 8:45 a.m. Monday with
    services at St. Alphonsus Church
    at 9:15 a.m. Burial will be made
    in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends
    may call from 7 to 9 p.m. and
    from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m.
    Sunday.

    Milo E. Bills proprietor of the
    Two; Mile House at the foot of Owasco
    lake, was. found dead In bed at
    his hostelry yesterday morning and
    the news of his death came as a great
    surprise to his many friends.
    He was downtown on Saturday af-

    ternon and had his horse shod and
    numerous aqualntances who saw him
    then remarked that he was looking

    very well. In spite of his good appearance
    he was not in good health
    and his family had been notified by
    the attending physicians that be was
    a sufferer from Bright's disease with
    little hope of recovery. Coroner
    O'Neill. on Investigation found that
    death was due to Bright's disease and
    a stroke of apoplexy that had occurred
    sometime during the night of
    Mr. Bills' death, and both of these
    causes appeared In the death certificate
    Milo Bills was .41 years old and
    was very well known throughout
    this section. He loved animals of
    any kind and was seldom without
    strange pets, many of Which after
    death were mounted and formed an
    Interesting collection. He was a
    fancier and a breeder of game
    chickens and was regarded as one
    of the best In his line in the State.
    He was a genial fellow, well liked
    and his untimely demise will be deplored
    by all his acquaintances.
    His wife died but a short time ago
    and the deceased is survived by a
    son, Fitch Bills, and a daughter,
    Libbie Means, both of whom made
    their home with their father. Funeral
    services will be held at the
    late home of Mr. Bills tomorrow afternoon
    at 3 o'clock and burial will
    be made in St. Joseph's cemetery.

    Mary, wife of Milo Bills died at
    the City hospital this morning at 4
    O'clock of an illness of a few days'
    duration. Mrs. Bills was a woman
    whose many fine qualities of head
    and heart won for her the esteem of
    all who knew her. She is survived besides
    her husband by two children.
    Mrs. George Means and Fitch Bills,
    her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
    Murphy, four brothers, Fred, James,
    Frank and Charles Murphy, and one
    sister, Mrs. Thomas Giblin, who may
    feel assured of the sympathy of the
    community in their affliction. The
    funeral will be heId from the family
    home, No. 15 Cottage street. Monday
    morning, at 8:45, with services at
    the Holy Family church at 9:15
    o'clock. Burial will be made in the
    family plot In St. Joseph's cemetery.

    William S. Bills, an old resident of this
    city, died last week after a lingering illness
    of about six weeks, in the 70th year
    of his age.
    Mr. Bills came to this city in 1850 and
    for a number of years conducted a marble
    and granite works. He was promi-
    nent in Democratic politics and at different
    times was elected to the offices of city
    assessor, alderman aud supervisor, taking
    great interest in city atfairs.
    He leaves t»eside a wife, three daughters,
    Mrs. E. J. Congdon, Mrs. Mary E.
    Austin of this city and Mrs L. A. Whiting
    of New York city, and four sons,
    Chester S., Wm.E , Chas. P and Milo E.
    Bills of this city.
