into rest at his home Friday.
Sept 10, 1864. Besides his
wife, be leaves one son, Kenneth
F. Birdsall of Lockport, N. Y.;
also five grandchildren. Friends
may call at the Glenn H. Corwin
Funeral Home, 27 North Main St.,
Newfane, where services will be
held Monday afternoon at 1:30. In-
terment in Corwin Cemetery, New-
fane.

Mr. Birdsall for m a n y y e a r s conducted
a b l a c k s m i t h shop and m a n u f a c t
u r e d there the s p i k e s used in the
t w o g o v e r n m e n t piers in Olcott. He
r e t i r e d f r om a c t i v e life several years
a g o . The d e c e a s e d Is s u r v i v e d by his
w i f e , t w o s o n s , Clarence and George
B i r d s a l l , and a sister. Mrs. Charles
Lockwood, all of Olcott. F u n e r a l will
be held at the h o m e in West Main

LOCKPORT, Dec. 11.-Mrs Adelia
A. Birdsall. one of the oldest residents
of Olcott. died at her home there last
night after falling health that first
started her decline nearly four years
ago. At the time of her death, Mrs.
Birdsall was 89 years old. Her husband,
the late Charles S. Birdsall, died
about two years ago at the age of 92.
Born In Schenectady, she had spent
the greatest part of her life in Niagara
county, particularly Olcott and
she enjoyed the esteem of a wide circle
of friends in this section. Besides her
daughter and two sons she is aurvived
by three brothers, Thomas L. Coulter
of Niagara Falls, Willys E. Coulter
of Cambria, and W. Augustus Coulter
of Toungstown; and two sisters.
Mrs. George A. Seager of Newfane
and Mrs. Mary Beatty of Saginaw,
Mich. Funeral arrangements are not
yet complete.
