Miss Mae Nichols, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Edward Nichols of Lockport,
and Gordon F. Bisher, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Morgan MacDermott
of Barker, were quietly married
Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at
Hartland Methodist parsonage, the
Rev. Erford Daniels officiating.
Attendants were Miss Catherine
Bisher of Barker, sister of the bridegroom,
and Howard L. Perry of
Lockport.
The bride wore a tan dress with
brown accessories and a corsage ot
pink roses and forget-me-nots. The
bridesmaid's dress was of pink, with
brown accessories and she wore a
corsage of white roses with forgetme-
nots.
The couple will make their home
at 112 Spalding St.. Lockport.

Henry Bisher, 46, of 105 Washington
street died at 11 o'clock last
night in the City Hospital. He has
been ill since Friday but the seriousness
of his condition was not realized
until late yesterday when he
was rushed to the hospital in an
unconscious condition. The cause
of his death had not been determined
this morning.
Mr. Bisher was born in the town
of Lockport and lived practically
all his life- in this locality. He was
employed at the steam plant of tta
Lockport Division, New York State
Electric and Gas Company.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jennie
Morse Bisher; five children,
Gordon, Donald, Kathryn, Dorothy
and Melvin Bisher; his mother, Mrs.
Mary Bisher; four brothers and
three sisters, John, Burt, Walter and
George Bisher and Mrs. Rose Sanford,
all of Lockport, Mrs. Minnie
Walbel and Mrs. Rose Creasy of
Tonawanda.
Funeral services will be held Friday
afternoon at 2:30 at the home
of his brother, George Bisher, 291
South Transit street.

PENDLETON, Jan 29. - Mrs
Mary Bisher, widow of Fred Bisher,
died at her home in Pendleton Mon-
day, Jan. 27, in her 82nd year. Mrs.
Bisher had been ill the past two
years and had been tenderly cared
for by her son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. George Bisher.
Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Clarence Wiebel and Mrs. Roy
Creasy of Tonawanda, and Mrs,
William Sanford of Lockport; three
sons, Bert of Cambria Center-, Walter
and George of Pendleton; alto
one sister who resides in Missouri.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2:15 o-clock, at
the home, and 2:30 at the United
Brethren church. Rev. A. J. Vrooman,
the pastor, will officiate, and
burial will be in Bear Ridge ceme-
tery.
