    LOCKPORT —
    Frank Allen Disinger, age 91, passed away on December 26, 2013, just four months after the death of his wife, Marjorie (nee Zimmerman). Born in Lockport on August 27, 1922, he was the son of Howard and Lydia (Blessing). In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Donald, William and Harry (Dean); and sisters, Edith, Ruth (Eaton), Eleanor (Mundie) and Rita (Diemert).
    Frank is survived by daughters, Donna J. (Timothy) of Lockport, Diane J. (Gary) Braun of Pendleton, Jane A. (George) of Tucson, AZ; and son, David J. (Clara) of Lockport; grandchildren, Christopher (Meredith), Allen, and Scott Kleinhans, Danielle (Jason) Abrams, Chad (Jennifer) and Bradley Braun, Samantha and Megan Disinger; and great-grandchildren; McKenzie, Briella, Addelyn and Eden Braun, and Regan Kleinhans. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
    Frank graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1940, and served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during WWII on the submarine "The Bream". He worked as a Senior Product Designer at Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors for 39 years, and EGW of Buffalo as a design supervisor. He was a lifetime member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Lockport Navy Marine Club, a member of Red Jacket Lodge No. 646 F & A.M. where he served as a Master and District Deputy of the NYS Grand Lodge for the Niagara-Orleans district. He was an honorary member of the Niagara and Tuscan Lodges. He was a member of the John Hodge Lodge of Perfection and the Ismailia Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. Frank was a member of the NYS Horseshoe Pitchers Hall of Fame, honored for his work as a promoter/organizer of the sport. He enjoyed many years of bowling and golfing with colleagues and friends.
    Friends may call on Sunday, December 29, 2013 1-5 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held on Monday morning at 11 AM. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners hospitals, American Red Cross, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

    LOCKPORT — Marjorie Z. Disinger passed away August 23, 2013 in Beechwood Health Care Facility. Born in Lockport on December 25, 1925, she was the daughter of Clarence F. and Mabel (James) Zimmerman. Marjorie was a member of the Eastern Star, Red Hat Society, PTA and was a Girl Scout Leader, 4-H Leader and volunteered at the Red Cross.

    She is survived by her husband, Frank A. Disinger of Lockport; mother of David J. (Clara) Disinger, Donna J. (Timothy) Kleinhans, both of Lockport, Diane J. (Gary) Braun of Pendleton, and Jane A. (George) Ballesteros of Tucson, AR; grandmother of Christopher M., Allan, Scott D. Kleinhans, Danielle M. Abrams, Chad T. (Jennifer), Bradley Braun, Samanatha L. and Megan L. Disinger; great-grandmother of McKenzie, Briella, Addelyn Braun and Regan Kleinhans; sister of Jane E. Sinclair of Wilson, Frederick E. (Helen) Zimmerman of Lockport, Ronald D. (Sharon) Zimmerman of Florida, and the late Clarence Zimmerman; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    Relatives and friends may call Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 PM. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
