AKRON - Mrs. Emma A
Brucker, 75, a resident here for
52 years, died Saturday (April
11, 1964) at her home "on the
Brackett Road.
She was born in Royalton, the
daughter of Theodore and Anna
VanBuren Bistoff, on Feb. 17,
1889.
Besides her husband, Edward
J. Brucker, she is survived
by two brothers, Royal
Bistoff of Lockport and Glenn
Bistoff of Lyndonville. A son,
Maynard Brucker, died some
time ago.
Funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the
Bernhardt Funeral Home, 130
Main St., The Rev. Robert Wacker
of the First Baptist Church of
Akron will officiate. Burial will
be in Eldred Cemetery.

Theodore Bistoff, 92, a Royalton
native, d i e d Wednesday (Aug.
21. 1957) in Erie County Infirmary,
after a brief Illness.
An area farmer, he was born
Oct. 31, 1865, the son of Gustav
and Anna Schuster Bistoff. He
had worked on farms In the Akron
area where he had lived most of
his life. His wife was the former
Anna Van Buren, now deceased.
Surviving are a daughter,. Mrs.
Edward Brucker, Akron; three
sons, Fred G., Akron; Royal A.,
Lockport; and Glenn E . Lyndonville;
two sisters, Mrs. John Mur-
taugh, Ransomville; and Mrs.
August Raduns, Buffalo; and a
brother, William, Buffalo.
Services will be Saturday afternoon
at 2 ln Bernhardt Funeral
Home, Akron. Burial will be in
Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Ak-
ron.

a former resident of this vicinity
and had m a n y f r i e n d s here.
B e s i d e s her husband, she l e a v es
one daughter. Mrs. Edward Brucker.
and three sons, Fred, Ray a n d Glenn,
a l s o one s i s t e r . Mrs. W i l l i am Bars, of
Kenne's Bridge, and three brothers,
George Van Buren of Millersport,
Christopher, of D y s i n g e r ' s Corners,
and Fred, of S o u t h Plains.
Funeral s e r v i c e s were observed at
the home, on S u n d a y afternoon. Interment
in Bloomingdale cemetery.

Mrs. Johanna Bistoff. aged 70 years,
who came to Lockport from Ulm.
Wurtemberg, Germany, when only
eight years of age. died at her late
residence about 11 o'clock yesterday
morning after a year's illness. De-
ceased was the widow of Gustav Bis-
toff. a Civil War veteran who passed
away 21 years ago. She.was a member
of the English Lutheran church,
and also of tha Woman's Relief Corps
of Sprout Post. No. 76, G. A. R. Nine
children survive.

Johanna Bistoff. who died Sunday
morning at her late residence. No.
82 Nlcholls street, was held this afternoon
with services at her late home
at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev.
Francis T. Hoover. Mrs. R. J. Carson
sang several appropriate selec
tlons.
The bearers were four grandsons.
Fred and Roy Bistoff, Walter and
Lester Bischer. and two nephews,
Joseph Schuster and John Siedhoff.
all of this city. The interment was
at Cold Springs cemetery.
