Krull, 97, died on September 3, 2013 at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on March 14, 1916 in North Tonawanda, NY to Hulbert E. Fels and Marie (nee Fritz) Fels. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Krull; and her sisters, Verna Ryan and Helen Prohaska. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey R. (Alice) Krull of Fort Wayne, IN; her grandson, Robert H. (Ozlem) Krull, and great-granddaughter, Allison D. Krull, of Palm Springs, FL; her granddaughter, Marla K. Peters, and great-grandson, Alexander S. Peters, of Fort Wayne, I. She is also survived by her nephew, Michael N. Ryan, and his son, Sean; her niece, Bonita M. Ryan; her nephew, Joseph P. (Denise) Prohaska, and their sons, Michael and Jeffrey; her niece, Nina (Smith) Randall; and her nephew, David Smith. After the death of her husband, she owned Krull Coal Oil Co. and Payne Avenue Supply, Inc. Later she worked for the North Tonawanda Board of Education and then for Marine Midland Bank. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, where she sang in the choir, served in the Ladies' Aid Society, and taught Sunday School to young children for more than thirty-five years. She was deeply loved by her family, and her friendliness and positive attitude endeared her to everyone she met. Her life provided an example of kindness and generosity to all those who knew and loved her. We will always remember her: Mom, Ruthie, Grandma, Nana, Aunt Ruth. Memorials may be sent to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
