The Como Restaurant was
the setting Saturday when 350
friends and relatives gathered
for a party honoring Mr. and
Mrs. Anthony Pagano, Monroe
Avenue, on the occasion of
their silver wedding anniversary.
The Paganos were
married Nov. 9, 1946 in
Niagara Falls. They have one
daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Carol)
Wilt, and three grandchildren,
all of Altoona, Pa.
Identically styled outfits
were worn by three
generations. Mrs. Pagano
chose a silver gown with
matching sleeveless coat
which she created herself and
completing the pink and silver
theme, her daughter and
granddaughters wore matching
gowns in pink.
A five-foot cake, .crowned
with a gazebo and surrounding
a fountain, was designed and
made for the couple by Mrs.
Rose- Maccarato.

years ago, when Miss Bixler became
the bride of Kenneth Urtel, son of
Mr and Mrs Fred Urtel of Ridgewood,
on Sunday. May 30
The ceremony at 4 o'clock was performed
in the Immanuel Lutheran
church at Ridgewood, the Rev. William
Dallmann officiating. The
bride was charming in a beautiful
gown of vellow net over yellow satin
and wore a yellow net redingofe
white satin slippers and white
gloves Her corsage of bride roses
was tied with white satin and she
wore a headdress fashioned from
white roses.
The bride was attended by Miss
Mildred Dempsey of Appleton. maid
of honor, whose gown was of peach
silk organdie, worn with white slip-
pers and gloves. Her corsage of pink
ribbon and her headdreaa was also
of tea roses. The bride's mother.
Mrs. Bixler, was gowned In pink
flowered silk crepe, with white accessories
and a pink rose corsage
Mrs. Uriel's costume was of blue
adorned with a
of white roses
The groom was attended by Horace
Sewtrd of Johnson Creek, to
whom he presented a tle-hankerchlef
set The bride gave to her maid of
honor a three-stranded pearl necklace
After the ceremony a reception
dinner party was held at the Buffalo
Trap and Field club Mr and Mi'
Urtel have taken up residence st

Oueats attended from Buffalo
Rochester. Lockport. Newfane. Ridge-
wood and Appleton.
Among the delightful pre-nuptlal
entertainments held were showers
by Miss Beatrice Gray of Newfane
who entertained at a red and white
kitchen shower, the Misses Mildred
Dempsey and Lorraine Mohlar, who
gave a linen shower and dinner at
Maplebrook Manor, the choir and
Sunday school members of the Im-
manuel Lutheran church entertain-
ing at a bedroom shower.

Gold has been filed In the county
clerk's office.
They were married May 30, 1937,
at Ridgewood. Custody of an infant
daughter, Carol Ann, was given to
the mother and Mr. Urtel was directed
to pay $3 a week for the support
and education of the child
