    Age 83, of North Tonawanda, under the care of Hospice. Wife of 49 years to the late Alex Spence who died in 2018, Mother of Michael and Gary Spence, Dennis (Amber), Sandra and David (Lori) Brenon and the late Alex Spence, Jr, Sharon Brown and Brenda (late Daniel) Duff, also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, sister of Margaret (late Henry) Askey, George (late Susan) Horan and the late Edward (living spouse Gayle) Horan. Also many nieces and nephews. Karen worked in the cafeteria at Tonawanda High School for many years and was known as the "Lunch Lady". Calling hours will be held on Tuesday March 5, 2024 from 1-4 PM at the JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in the City of Tonawanda, where a Prayer Service will be conducted on Tuesday at 4 PM following the calling hours.
