    The marriage of Miss Mary Mil-
    dred Blackley. daughter of Mr. and
    Charles Blackley of Webb
    street to William Brett Roche of
    Gasport was solemnised at 5:30
    Thursday in the Second Presbytertian
    Manse on Niagara street, the
    Rev G A Jameison officiating.
    The bride who was given in marriage
    by her brother, Harry Black-
    ley, wore a gown of powder blue
    chiffon with long flaring sleeves.
    large gray horse-hair hat, was
    trimmed with powder blue velvet
    and she wore slipper and gloves of
    gray. Her bridal bouquet was of
    white roses.
    The bridesmaids were Miss Eugene
    Devereaux. gowned In orchid flower
    ed chiffon with large matching
    horse hair hat and slippers an
    gloves of white. She carried an
    arm bouquet of pink roses tied with
    pink tulle. Miss Isabel Vogt. gowned
    In yellow flowered chiffon with
    large white charemuae hat, wore
    slippers and stores of white, she carried
    an arm bouquet of pink roses
    tied with Pink tulle The bride
    groom was attended by his brother,
    Harold Roche of Gasport.
    Mrs. Charles Blackley. mother of
    the bride, wore a gown of black figured
    crepe with black accessories
    Mrs. Libby Roche, mother of the
    groom wore brown figured crepe
    with brown accessories. Miss Loraine
    Sinclair played the Lohengrin
    wedding march.
    Following the ceremony a supper
    was served to fifty guests at the
    home of the bride on Webb street.
    The long oval table was centered
    with red roses and the wedding
    cake flanked by red tapers In silver
    holders. The house was decorated
    throughout with spring flowers.
    The bride's going away costume
    was a navy blue crepe sport suit
    and white panarna hat.
    After a motor trip Mr. and Mrs.
    Roche will be at home at 73 Webb
    street.
    Out of town guests were Mrs.
    Libby Roche and daughter Laura,
    of Gasport, Mr. and Mrs. Martin
    Relberger of Olcott and Mr. and
    Mrs. Robert Messier of Oasport.
    Among those who entertained for
    the bride are Miss Eugena Devereaux,
    Mra. Stephen Taylor of Buffalo.
    Miss Isabel Vogt, Mrs. Maud
    Heiberger of Olcott, Mrs. Arthur
    Helnta, Mrs. Harry Blackley, Mrs.
    Roy Rita asd Mra. Frederick Black-
    ley.

    Mr. and Mrs. F. Allen Watters
    have returned from a
    honeymoon in Montreal, Quebec,
    and Peterboro, Canada
    and are residing at 72 Webb
    St.
    The bride is the former
    Mary M. Smallman. daughter
    of Charles Blackley and
    the late Mrs. Nettie Blackley.
    The groom is the son of the
    kite Dr. and Mrs. F. A. Watters.
    The marriage was solemnnized
    at 2 p.m. July 14 at the
    First Presbyterian Church,
    with the Rev. Herbert Christ
    officiating.
    The bride was attired in a
    gown of champagne chiffon
    over silk, champagne accessories
    and carried a Prayer
    Book Adorned with a white orchid.
    Mrs. Myrtle Ritz attending
    her sister, wore a street-length
    dress of blue lace, blue accessories,
    and carried pink roses
    and carnations.
    Albert G. Ball, brother-inlaw
    of the groom, acted as
    best man.
    A garden reception for 250
    guests was held at the home
    of Mr. and Mrs. Roy R. Ritz,
    Caledonia Street.
    For traveling, Mrs. Watters,
    chose a two - piece suit of
    brown and white jersey, white
    accessories and a corsage of
    white orchids.

    LOCKPORT - Charles E.
    Blackley, 90, of 395 Lincoln
    Ave., died Monday (Aug. 3,
    1964) in Lockport Memorial
    Hospital.
    Born here, March 16, 1874,
    he had been employed by the
    American District Steam Co.
    and the Lockport Heat and
    Power Co. Before joining the
    Upson Co. as a steamfitter
    He retired in 1948.
    He had lived at 72 Webb
    St. for more than 30 years
    until 1962. His wife, Nettie Petrie
    Blackley, died in 1949.
    Surviving are three daughters,
    Mrs. Roy R. Ritz arid
    Mrs. F. Allen Watters, both
    of Lockport, and Mrs. 0. E.
    Wagner, Covina, Calif.; two
    sons. Fred W. and Milton W.
    Blackley, both of Lockport:
    six grandchildren and 11
    great-grandchildren and a
    brother, Alvin J. Blackley,
    Lockport: and several nieces
    and nephews.
    Friends mav call., at his
    home. Funeral arrangements
    will be announced late. Burial
    will be in Cold Spring
    Cemetery.

    BLACKLEY - Funeral services for
    Nettie Blackley were held at her
    home 72 Webb Street, Wednesday
    afternoon, October 12, 1949 at 3:30
    o'clock. The Reverend John Graf
    officiated. the bearers were
    grandsons, Clifford Wagner, Charles
    Blackley and Richard Blackley, nep-
    hews, James Blackley, Fred Petrie
    and Eugene Smallman. Women of
    the Loyal Order of Moose No. 282
    served as an Honor Guard and con-
    ducted services at the grave in Cold
    Springs cemetery.

    John C. Blackley died this Wednesday
    morning July 23rd, at,,the home
    57 Cleveland Place. He is survived by
    his wife, one daughter Mrs. Alice
    Leahn, Silver Springs; N. Y., two sons
    Charles and Alvin Blackley, four
    sisters, Mrs. D. V. O l d h a m , Mrs. Daniel
    Kline, Mrs. Hiram Poole of Lockport
    and Mrs. Alec Paine of Niagara Falls,
    N. Y., o n e b r o t h e r William Blackley
    of Lockport and eleven grand children.
    The funeral will be held on
    F r i d a y a f t e r n o o n at 2 o'clock at the
    home and 2:30 at the Calvary church,
    South street. Interment in Cold
    Springs cemetery

    funeral win be held on Saturday
    afternoon at 2:30 at Taylor A
    Reynolds Funeral Home on Ni-
