    Hood Funeral Home, Barker,
    from 2-5 and 7-9, where services
    will be held Monday at 10:30.
    Interment in Somerset Cemetery.

    BARKER - Samuel A. Crafts
    46, of Barker, died Thursday in
    Newfane Inter-Community Memorial
    Hospital, where he had
    been .. patient for several days.
    He was a patient for four weeks
    at Cleveland Clinic, where he
    had heart surgery, prior to going
    to the Newfane hospital.
    Mr. Crafts was born March
    18. 1923 in Barker, the son of
    Lynn and Gail Burgess Crafts.
    His mother survives him.
    Mr. Crafts served for two
    years in the engineer corps in
    the Pacific Theatre during
    World Wai II. He was married,
    June 3, 1944 to the former Beatrice
    Blackley of Lockport, who
    survives him.
    He had been employed for 14
    years as a journeyman millwright
    by Harrison Radiator Division.
    General Motors Corp.
    He was a member and past
    commander of Herbert Carr
    Post 423, American Legion and
    member of Somerset United
    Methodist Church.
    In addition to his widow and
    mother he is survived by two
    daughters, Mrs. Dexter L. Mc
    Cantry and Miss Annette Crafts,
    hoth of Barker; a son, Dennis
    Crafts, serving with the U.S.
    Air Force in Goose Bay, Labrador:
    two grandchildren; three
    sisters Mrs. Fern Clapp of Ransom
    vilic, Mrs. Flo Belle Fredricksen
    of Newark and Mrs.
    Effie Green of Perrysburg, Ohio
    and a brother, Lynn Crafts of
    Mount Prospect, III.
    Beginning this evening,
    friend? may call from 2 to 5 and
    7 to 9 p.m. at the Hood Funeral
    Home, Barker, where funeral

    Services for Harry L. Blackley,
    55, of 321 Green St., who died Saturday,
    will he held tomorrow at
    9 o'clock at the home of his father.
    Charles F. Blackley, 72 Webb
    St and at 9:30 at St. Patrick's
    Church. Burial will be in Cold
    Spring Cemetery.
    Mr. Blackley, a veteran of
    World War I, was stricken unex-
    pectedly at his home on Saturday
    with a heart attack. He was an

    inspector at the Simonds Saw and
    Steel Company where he had
    worked about 15 years. He was
    bom in this city on Sept. 30, 1896.
    Surviving besides his father are
    his wife, Mrs. Matilda Fraas
    Blackley; a son, Charles F., of
    Lockport; a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice
    Crafts of Olcott; four grandchildren;
    three slsters. Mrs. O. E .
    Wagner of Niagara Falls, Mrs.
    Roy Rltz and Mrs. Eugene L.
    Smalunan of Lockport and two
    brothers, Fred W. and Milton W.

    Ave., died Monday (Aug. 3,
    1964) in Lockport Memorial
    Hospital.
    Born here, March 16, 1874,
    he had been employed by the
    American District Steam Co.
    and the Lockport Heat and
    Power Co. Before joining the
    Upson Co. as a steamfitter
    He retired in 1948.
    He had lived at 72 Webb
    St. for more than 30 years
    until 1962. His wife, Nettie Petrie
    Blackley, died in 1949.
    Surviving are three daughters,
    Mrs. Roy R. Ritz arid
    Mrs. F. Allen Watters, both
    of Lockport, and Mrs. 0. E.
    Wagner, Covina, Calif.; two
    sons. Fred W. and Milton W.
    Blackley, both of Lockport:
    six grandchildren and 11
    great-grandchildren and a
    brother, Alvin J. Blackley,
    Lockport: and several nieces
    and nephews.
    Friends mav call., at his
    home. Funeral arrangements
    will be announced late. Burial
    will be in Cold Spring
    Cemetery.

    BLACKLEY - Funeral services for
    Nettie Blackley were held at her
    home 72 Webb Street, Wednesday
    afternoon, October 12, 1949 at 3:30
    o'clock. The Reverend John Graf
    officiated. the bearers were
    grandsons, Clifford Wagner, Charles
    Blackley and Richard Blackley, nep-
    hews, James Blackley, Fred Petrie
    and Eugene Smallman. Women of
    the Loyal Order of Moose No. 282
    served as an Honor Guard and con-
    ducted services at the grave in Cold
    Springs cemetery.
