Mrs. Elizabeth Wyles. 94. died
Sunday morning (May 20, 1956) in
Odd Fellows Home, where she had
been a patient for the past three
years.
A native of Churchville, Ontario,
she was born Nov. 17, 1961, daugh-
ter of Abraham and Jane Little
Argue. The family moved from
Canada to Lockport in 1888, later
operating a farm in Wright's Sta-
tion. He husband, Thomas Wyles,
died in 1939.
Mrs. Wyles was the mother of
the late Oscar and Hollis Wyles
and Mrs. Dean K. Swick. She is
susrvived by one sister, Mrs.
Charles Finley of Lockport, five
grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren
Services will be Wednesday aft-
ernoon at 3 o'clock in Prudden &
Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee
St., with the Rev. Ritchard E. Ly-
on, First Baptist Church, officiat-
ing. Burial will be in Glenwood
Cemetery.

widow of Thomas Wyles. Mrs.
Wyles, a resident of the Odd Fellows
Home, Lake Ave., for the last
three years, died there Sunday (May
20, 1956).
She was born Sept. 16, 1871, in
Churchville, Ont., daughter of Abraham
and Jane Nicholson Argue.
She came to Lockport in 1888 and
later made her home at the Old
Wright's Trolley Station, Million
Dollar Hgwy.
Before going to the IOOF Home,
he had lived with a sister, Mrs.
Charles Finley, this city, for 12
yean after the death of her husband.
She was the mother of the late
Oscar and Holly Wyles and Mrs.
Dean K. Swick. In addition to her
sister, she is survived by five grandchildren
fend five great grandchildren.
She was a member of the First
Baptist Church. The Rev. Richard
E, Lyon, pastor of the church, will
conduct funeral services. Burial will
be in Glenwood Cemetery.
