    GERLACH - Harry Joseph Of the Town of Wheatfield, age 76, died peacefully in the comfort of Niagara Hospice House on September 15, 2013, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Harry and Ruth (Loveland) Gerlach; husband of Judith (Trinkwalder) Gerlach; father of James (Mary Kay), Peter (Danielle Sawyer), Christopher (Crisanne Conley), Julianne (Brian) Taylor, Susan (Joseph) Cunningham; Papa to Joey and Colin Gerlach, Megan and Bailey Cunningham, Camryn Taylor and Harry Gerlach; brother of Dolly Contrino, Anita Patrick and the late Barney Gerlach. Harry was a 1954 graduate of North Tonawanda High School, attended Alfred University, was a longtime employee of H.F. Darling Inc, and was a member of IUOE Local #17 for over 50 years. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, tractors, the Bills and Sabres, his family and friends and his little dog Chuckie. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 307 Oliver St., N. Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 AM. Interment Bear Ridge Cemetery.     Judith Ann Gerlach
    Of the Town of Wheatfield, age 81, died peacefully in the comfort of Niagara Hospice House on November 29, 2020, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Verna Trinkwalder; wife of the late Harry Gerlach; companion of the late Gary Gath; mother of James (Mary Kay), Peter (Danielle Sawyer), Christopher (Crisanne Conley), Julianne (Brian) Taylor, and Susan (Joseph) Cunningham; grandmother of Joey and Colin Gerlach, Megan and Bailey Cunningham, Camryn Taylor, and Harry Gerlach; sister of Peter Trinkwalder and the late Thomas Trinkwalder. Judy was a 1957 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and a 1961 graduate of SUNY Cortland. A school teacher in her early years, she devoted her later years to being a full time mother, grandmother, and socialite. She was active in the Queen City Jazz Society and North Tonawanda Alumni. She loved traditional New Orleans Jazz, estate sales, the Bills and Sabres, hats, pins and any reason to wear a costume. Judy’s favorite things were spending time with family, and her many treasured friends. Friends may call Thursday 4-7 PM at the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive, N. Tonawanda.     He was born in Lockport and
    had lived in the Town of Pen-
    dleton for 25 years. He was a
    self-employed Hoisting engineer
    and a member of Local 17,
    Operating Engineers. He is sur-
    vived by his wife, Ruth Loveland
    Gerlach; two sons, Harry J.
    and Lewis M. of Pendleton; two
    daughters, Mrs. Donald F. Arnts
    in Japan and Anita J. of Pen-
    dleton; two brothers, Albert of
    Lockport and Ben of Fort Lau-
    derdale, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs.
    Josephine Linck of Lockport and
    Mrs. Jennie Heim of East Am-
    herst and two grandchildren.

    The marriage of Miss Verna L.
    Roggow, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Waldemar Roggow, of 376
    Miller street to Francis G. Trinkwalder,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
    Trinkwalder of 288 Wheatfield
    street, was solemnized Saturday
    morning, April 23 at 10 o'clock in
    the Sisters' chapel, Keil street,
    the Rev. William Crotty officiating.
    The bride wore a gown of com
    blue net over taffeta and carried
    a colonial bouquet. Miss Margaret
    Graham acted as bridesmaid
    wearing pink chiffon and she also
    carried a colonial bouquet. Mr.
    Melvin Wagenschuetz attended
    Mr. Trinkwalder as best man.
    A reception for 100 guests was
    given at the Elks' club, also a
    dinner, with covers for sixteen at
    the bride's table which was centered
    with a large wedding cake.
    Mr. and Mrs. Trinkwalder are
    taking a motor trip to Florida,
    and will be at home in 52 Christiana
    street after May 10.
    Those who attended in honor
    of the bride included Mrs. Harold
    Schultz, Miss Carmen Gosch and
    Mrs. Ernest Hudnutt. the office
    force of the Van Raalte company
    also Mrs. Edward Krieck and Mrs
    George Thomas of Niagara Falls.
