    NIAGARA FALLS (UPD-Alexander
    Bradt, 64, of Niagara Falls,
    administrator of the Western New
    York district of the State Workmen's
    Compensation Board, died
    Sunday at a hospital.
    Bradt, who was appointed to the
    state post under Governor Dewey
    in 1945, had become ill in his Buffalo
    office Tuesday and was taken
    to the hospital Friday.
    He was a former secretary of
    the Niagara County Republican
    Committee.
    He is survived by his widow,
    two children, two brothers, two sisters
    and five grandchildren.
    The funeral will be held Wednes
    day.

    Alexander Bradt, 64, of 2722 Willow Ave., church
    and Masonic leader here, died Sunday (May 19, 1963) at
    Memorial Hospital.
    The administrator of the Western New York District
    for the State Workmen's Compensation Board since June
    1, 1945, Mr. Bradt was stricken in his office at the State
    Office Building, Buffalo, last Tuesday. He entered the
    hospital Friday.
    A native of Dunville, Onf..,
    Mr. Bradt lived here 49 years.
    He was secretary of the Niagara
    C o u n t y Republican
    Committee before Gov. Thomas
    E. Dewey's administration
    named him compensation administrator.
    The district-covers
    Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua
    and Cattaraugus counties.
    Activt In Church
    Mr. Bradt was chairman of
    the board of trustees and his
    torian of First Christian
    Church and was its treasurer
    for 22 years.
    Active in Masonic circles,
    he was past president of the
    32nd Degree Club, past president
    and secretary of the Niagara
    Falls Shrine Club and
    a member of Niagara River
    Lodge 785, F&AM, and Isma-
    lia Temple, Buffalo.
    Surviving are his wife, Jes-
    sie Bradt; a son, Douglas a.
    Bradt, Butler, Pa.; a daughter,
    Mrs. Samuel Coffman, Ran-
    somville; two brothers, Ar-
    thur Bradt, North Tonawanda,
    and Leonard Bradt, Irving-
    ton, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs.
    Jerald McCollum, Ransom-
    ville, and Mrs. Richard Willis,
    this city; and five grandchil-
    dren.
    RITES WEDNESDAY
    The funeral will be held
    at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the
    Gridley Funeral Home. Burial
    will be in Memorial Park
    Cemetery.
    Masons will hold memorial
    services at 7:30 p.m. Tues-
    day at the funeral home.
