    Mmie. Simone M Hanrot, of
    Chalons-Sur-Marne, France, became
    the bride of John C. Brenon,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert A
    Brenon of 359 Utica street on
    Saturday morning at 10 a. m. in
    St. Frr.ncis Church. The Rt. Rev
    Msgr. John A. Weitmantel officiated
    before *.he altar which was
    decorated with tall vases of white
    gladioli.
    Mrs. Charles Kelly sang during
    the nuptial mass accompanied by
    Mrs. Bacon, organist.
    For her wedding Mmie Hanrot
    chose a lovely gown of white
    crepe, fashioned with, fitted bodice
    long tapering sleeves and a full
    skirt with chapel length train. Her
    three-quarter length veil ef illusion
    fell from a tiara of illusion
    and the carried a spray of white
    roses and white gladioli.
    Attending her as maid of honor
    was the bridegroom's titter Mist
    Cora Brenon oi Detroit, who wore
    a gown of orcH!d-pink satin. She
    carried a spray of red roses and
    white gladioli.
    Robert H. Brenon and Wilbert
    A. Brenon, Jt., brothers of the
    bridegroom, attended as best man
    and usher.
    Mrs. Brenon selected a flowered
    silk jersey with white accessories
    and wore a corsage of yellow
    roses
    The wedding breakfast for the
    bridal party was given in the
    Brenon Home in Utica street at a
    table covered with a linen cloth
    and centered with a tiered wedding
    cake. Garden flowers decorated
    the home. Msgr. Weismantel
    was a guest at the breakfast.
    A reception was held in the eve*
    ning. Guests were present from
    Detroit, Fredoria and Buffalo.
    I Following a motor trip through
    the Ad:rondacks. Mr. and Mrs
    Brenon will make their home in
    Utica street
    Mr. Brenon met his bride during
    service as Stuff Sergeant with
    A. A. Y. in France. Mrs, Brenon
    was at that time employed by the
    French Govcrment Her parents,
    M. ana Mme. Charles Hanrot live
    in Chalons-Sur-Marne. The dainty
    bride-tr-be arrived in New York
    about three weeks ago front
    France.

    Christian Burial at 8.30a.m. at
    St. Francis of Assisi Church,
    the Rt. Rev Msgr. Ralph M.
    Miller officiating. Burial will
    be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

    wife of Wilbert A. Brenon
    who died in 1974 and was

    Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Brenon,
    359 Utica St., Tonawanda, observed
    their 50th wedding anniversary
    at a dinner Saturday in
    the Apple Grove Inn, Medina.
    Their children and grandchildren
    were hosts at the affair.
    Mr. Brenon and his wue, the
    former Vera Hoffman, were
    married Sept. 30, 1916, in St.
    Francis of Assisi Church, Tonawanda.
    The late Rev. Bachman
    officiated.
    Before his retirement Mr. Brenori
    was a cattle dealer. He now'
    turns his attention to gardening
    and a flourishing vegetable garden
    and his rose beds, ieaturing
    many varieties of blooms, are
    his "pride and joy." He and
    Mrs. Brenon take an active interest
    in the doings of their family.
    Mrs. Brenon for relaxation
    "loves to play solitaire."
    Their children are:
    Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Cora)
    Belisario of Detroit, who were
    unable to attend; Mr. and Mrs.
    John (Rita) Ward, Eggertsville;
    Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Brenon Jr.,
    Mr. and Mrs. John Brenon and
    Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brenon.
    They have 21 grandchildren.
    Because of the death of Leo
    Brenon, Mr. Brenon's brother,
    who had been his best man 50
    years ago, the dinner party
    planned for several weeks was
    limited to family guests. Mr.
    Brenon's sister, the late Mrs.
    Frances Joyce, was their maid
    of honor.
    Carnat'ons and philodendron
    formed the centerpiece for the
    dinner party. A three-tiered,
    white wedding cake accented
    with gold decorations was cut to
    climax the affair.

    TONAWANDA, Dec. 13. - Charles
    Brenon, 76, d'ed yesterday at the family
    home. 231 Adam street, after an
    Illness of one week. Mr. Brenon had
    resided in t h i Tonawandas for the past
    50 years. Besides his wife ho is survived
    by four sons, five daughters, 29
    grandchildren, one brother and three
    sisters.
    Funeral services will be held from
    the home Monday momlng at 8:30
    o'clock and at 9 from St. Patrick's
    Catholic church. Interment wili be In
    Mt. Olivet cemetery.
