    Notes:

Mary Jane Kelsch, 95, went home to God on Friday, March 6th, 2015 as she desired..peacefully in her chair, in her home. She was born in Niagara Falls on October 11, 1919, the second of eight children of Lloyd and Edna Bloomstine. Her parents and all five brothers, and one sister pre-deceased her. Her beloved husband of 72 years, Walter, passed from this life in October, 2013.

She attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle High School, before entering the work force in Niagara Falls as a Collector. She met the love of her life, Walter, while in High School and soon married him. They endured the loss of their first born, and years of separation caused by WW11. After the war, she became a full-time housewife, and part-time grape farmer. She was noted for her excellent baked goods, especially grape pie, and homemade yeast rolls. She went out of her way to make birthdays, Valentines' Day, and other holidays special...going so far as to let one of her daughters, while in Jr. High, wear her wedding dress for Halloween. Though she never believed it, her skills in the kitchen were extraordinary and everything she made was culinary gold. Mary Jane was a generous woman, industrious, selfless, charitable, and friendly. When her daughters were young, she would spend regular time reading to them, teaching them letters, and numbers, playing with them, and teaching them how to pray. She was involved for many years with the Ladies of Charity at St. John de LaSalle Parish, and their annual Lawn Fete., After joining Immaculate Conception Parish in Ransomville, she became active in the Rosary Altar Society,a member of the Parish Council and for 20 years, with her husband, Chaired and worked the Bingo games at the parish. She also belonged to the Caritias Society, and regularity donated baked goods for parish events. Not afraid of physical work, she and her husband grew and sold produce , including grapes, at the N. Tonawanda City Farmers Market, starting in their 60's and finally "retiring" from ii in their early 80's.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Kelsch, and Sharon Patton, her sister "Tootie" Laws, sister-in-law, Kathleen Bloomstine, and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
