Anthony Bland. 80. of 1341
Pierce Ave., died Wednesday
(Sept. 9, 1970) in Buffalo after
a long illness.
A resident here since 1906,
Mr. Bland retired as a sexton
at Sacred Heart Church.
He was a member of the Holy
Name Society of Sacred Heart
Church.
Survivors incllude his widow,
Veronica Bland; three sons,
Casimir J. and Theodore J.
Blanc, both of this city, and
Edward J. Bland of Brecksville,
Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Charles
Theodore J (Loretta) Hen-
derson, of this city; 12
grandchildren and one great-
grandson.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the
Rhoney Funeral Home and at
9:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart
Church. Burial will be in Gate
of Heaven Cemtery.
Members of the Holy Name
Society will meet Friday at 9
p.m.. to recite the rosary.
Friends may call today from
7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from
2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
